I saw you, and the glare you gave me because of the strange clothes I wear
But you don't see me, when I give the clothes that don't fit me anymore to the homeless.
I saw you, thinking I'm just another 'emo' kid.
But you don't see me, trying so hard to break that sterotype.
I saw you, glaring at me while I have my hands in my pockets, wondering what I'm hiding
But you don't see me, with the scars I have all over my arms.
I saw you, think I'm just another drug addict because of my style
But you don't see me, lecturing kids about the dangers of drugs.
I see you, an average person on the street-having a story and doing the best you can.
Too bad you can't see me in the same way
