My name is Kia, short for Nkiay. Nkiay is the name I gave my self, and Kia is the shortened version. Nkiay is pronounced (nuh-kie) then to pronounce Kia just take off the (nuh) sound. I was curious if my name had a meaning so I looked it up on google. Nkiay means nothing, is nothing, other than my various accounts on several sites. Kia on the other hand had many results. The most prominent was Kia Motors, its pronounced different though. From several name sites I got different things, here are a few. The meaning of the name Kia is Hill.
