Hello! I am an older Neopets player returning from an 8-year hiatus. I miss my old account because I remember when avatars were first introduced to the site and I had many of the special retired ones. I have discovered now that I missed out on many avatars and site themes, but I am slowly rebuilding. I managed to buy and hatch a Draik egg fairly early on and got my wonderful MidwinterDay the Chocolate Draik. He was my first dream pet and goal on Neopets and I am very proud of him and all of my pets. As for my current goals, I am working on fulfilling my final permie plans:

Elfy a Chocolate Draik
Merriman an Elderly Xweetok
Stanton a White Kacheek.
Above all, I am wishing hard for a UC Faerie Xweetok and UC Plushie Shoyru, my favorite pets.
I am currently a grad student working for my Ph.D. in Classics so I do not always have time to be online and take the occasional short hiatus if needed to finish my work.
