I'm Valerie, and I've been on Neopets a very long time. My first account was made sometime in early 2000, less than a year after the site launched. I've seen many changes. I've had times when I couldn't get enough of the site (quite often), and times I only got on occasionally (very rarely). I was a very quiet and next to invisible part of the old NC (and if you don't know what that is, it's not that important). But all in all, Neopets has been a big part of my life the last 9 years.
I'm an obsessive writer, whose depressiveness can be catchy. I write both fanfiction and a huge original universe, that I hope to one day self-publish. I started writing around the same time as I started here, and thus, Neopets has been a great inspiration to me. (I promise to thank you if I ever publish, TNT!)
I love books, manga, anime and video games. Aside from my Neopets obsession, I'm largely in love with Harry Potter, NANA, and The Sims 2. I also have many, many other fandoms.
Anyways, if you happen upon me, feel free to say hello! I check in several times a day most of the time. I'd be happy to help any newbies to get used to the site. But no begging, please. It is not permitted.
I will not tolerate hacking and scamming (for obvious reasons). I got this account back by shear miracle after being hacked all the way through my email! o.O; I lost everything but my pets (who were unpainted at the time), and nearly lost my email account in the process. So be careful, everyone!
