Pet Name: Rozzia
Owner: eisha_iii
Breed: Wocky

About Rozzia:
Bright rays of sunlight cascaded down upon the large body of water that sparkled against the blue sky. Wisps of lazy clouds drifted across it, casting their light shadows on the white sandy beaches. Tall, broad-leafed trees swayed gently in the warm, salty breeze, and the clear blue-green waves kissed the rocks near the shore, causing mist to fly into the air and then casually float back down.

It was the peaceful Mystery Island, home to many forms of beauty, including both the natural features and the inhabitants.

Bounding bouncily down a sandy slope was a young Wocky, her large fluffy tail swaying back and forth behind her as tiny lavender paws dashed through the sand. Bright green eyes sparkled with excitement as she skidded to a clumsy halt near the shore of the beach.

Dragging a large bag in her mouth, the fluffy little adventurer made her way onto a wooden dock that extended out over the water. She quickly reached the end and dropped the bag. It fell with a clunk, contents clattering from within.

The Wocky looked up. A small black shape was silhouetted on the horizon, slowly but surely growing larger. Her eyes were fixed upon it excitedly, and she anxiously shifted from paw to paw.

"They're back!" she called with glee, reaching down to open up her bag and withdraw from inside a pretty pink seashell. "I bet they'll love the presents I've got for them this time!"

For a few months, a particular gang of pirates had decided to make Mystery Island their major stop on the route they took from their home land to their destination. The little Wocky, ever curious, had always watched them approach from afar, delight spreading through. It was so exciting to see real live pirates!

Only recently had the Wocky decided to summon enough courage to greet them personally, and she immediately took a grand liking to them. Despite the stories and legends told to children by the islanders, they weren't scary at all - in fact, the first time she'd met them, the captain of the ship gave her a shiny silver dubloon.

That was why she had decided to start giving them presents in return. Smiling, she placed a paw protectively over her bag, anticipating the crew's descent onto the dock where she waited for them.

But before the ship could even become a definite shape, a voice called out from up the beach. "Rozzia! It's time to go!"

The Wocky's expression fell as she turned to her owner, the one who had summoned her. "But, the pirates! I want to talk to them again!" The stern look on her owner's face commanded that she retreat, however, and so she sullenly reclaimed the bag and turned around, beginning to trot down the dock towards the shore.

"Next time," Rozzia muttered, glancing over her shoulder to catch sight of the single shell she'd left on the edge of the dock. "Not only will I talk to you guys... I'll join you, too! I will become a pirate!"
