 Pet Name: David_Miller_ Owner: lucy_ildivo Breed: Lenny About David_Miller_: Never expect to fly. Being a plushie Lenny, my wings are simply too weak to fly. What a shame! My owner, lucy_ildivo, completed a quest from the Fountain Faerie and to thank her, the Fountain Faerie decided that I could paint myself into any color. My owner then decided to turn me into a plushie lenny. Her explanation was simple---she would never be able to earn three million to buy a plushie paintbrush and I looked adorable in plushie. So---with a few clicks, I was changed into a plushie lenny, saying goodbye to the happy pastime of soaring in the sky. It was all right in the beginning. I became the spotlight of the public, my color was the envy of my brothers, life was just so wonderful. And then, It was a nightmare. I could not believe it! I flapped my wings as hard as I could but it seemed that all my muscles had changed into cotton filling. I sat on the floor of my room, stared at myself in the mirror, dismayed. I wondered whether I could survive without wings. “I barely used my legs then, and now, I have to depend on them.” I thought, gloomier than ever. That day onwards, I trained myself to walk on legs. In the beginning, my legs wobbled like jelly. A few days later, I could stroll along The Beach of Mystery Island with my Plushie Mazzew. Soon after, I could catch up with a Cybunny. One day, my owner and I were passing through the Lost City of Geraptiku when we walked past the DESERTED TOMB. My curious (and senseless) owner opened the door to the Deserted Tomb. I urged her to go back but she was just too fascinated with the Neopoints and treasure. When we came upon a very, very old door, my silly owner suggested continuing on, at the risk of never returning. I really wanted to flee for my life as that dark, evil place sent shivers down my spine, even my cotton wings felt clammy. Still, lucy_ildivo’s strong determination let her open the door… The passage led us down a creepy room. In total darkness, even the sound of our footsteps was bloodcurdling. Oh, how I missed my safe and warm Neohome! We ate on the remaining food we had, the gross food. My body was dirty and smelly (See? Being a plushie is no fun at all!), how I wished I could bathe with the Usuki Strong n Refreshing Shampoo For Plushies! I was tired and weary when I heard “Grrrrrr!!!” There came a monster! I could not see it but I could feel its every breath. My owner was scared out of her wits and yes, she passed out! I was on my own then. I held her with my beak---she was heavier than an Elephante! I ran as fast as my legs could carry me---it was the first time that I felt running is much better than flying! The cold but brisk wind past my ears, bringing me a new, indescribable feeling, and I love it. However, I’d better get rid of the thing which was chasing after me as soon as possible. It was truly a miracle that we survived and escaped from that tomb. My owner was so thankful and grateful that she brought me to Kelp to have a great feast. And I discovered my potential in that frightening adventure. Bye for now, I am going to take part in the Neopian Marathon 2008!
