Pet Name: i_am_4_tigers
I will tell you a tale, a tale of the heart, a tale of the soul. The neopians we used to know, are now gone. Replaced with scammers, spammers. I will tell you a tale of the heart, a tale of the soul. But will anyone understand?
I_am_4_tigers the grey Jetsam sniffed as she limped down the street. She wanted a Kookith more than anything. Her owner was too poor to buy one for her, though. I_am_4_tigers sighed and glanced at the petpet shop window. There was a new arrival of Kookiths, and i_am_4_tigers opened the door and walked in.
The bell jingled softly, and she looked around. The Kookiths were playing in a cage by the desk. I_am_4_tigers eyes locked on them. “May I help you?” the Blumaroo behind the counter asked, bouncing out towards i_am_4_tigers. I_am_4_tigers looked up at him. “Oh, what? How much are those Kookiths?” she asked looking longingly at them. The Blumaroo tilted he head and answered slowly, “About 40,000 neopoints, though I’ll haggle,” he answered. I_am_4_tigers felt her eyes widen. 40,000 points? That was a lot. She had 4,000 with her, and in her savings she had 20,000… But 40,000 were Impossible for her to even think about. She couldn’t ask her owner for the points, she was saving for a better shop, and i_am_4_tigers knew how important it was to her.
She laid the 4,000 points on the counter. “Is this enough if I just play with it?” She asked hopefully. The Blumaroo looked at the neopoints, and nodded. I_am_4_tigers walked to the cage and picked a small, runt-like Fire Kookith out of the pile. The Blumaroo stepped forward. “You don’t want to play with that one.” He said a slight quiver in his voice, as though almost laughing nervously. “It can’t play with you, it has a bad leg.” I_am_4_tigers looked down, and saw that, indeed, one of the Kookith’s legs was bent slightly out of shape.
I_am_4_tigers looked solemnly at the Kookith, happy as an of them and happier then some. “You see, Mister, I can’t really play either.” i_am_4_tigers said, rolling her jeans up a bit to reveal her tail, she sighed. It showed a badly misshapen tail, and keeping her solemn face i_am_4_tigers continued. “I can’t run, jump, play, ride bikes, and play like normal neopets. So it doesn’t really matter if this little guy can’t play like normal Kookiths.”
The Blumaroo had looked surprised for a moment, but then his face split in a smile. He walked over to the grey jetsam, and handed her money back. He picked up the fire Kookith, and handed it to i_am_4_tigers, too. “Here.” he said simply, his smile widening into a grin. I_am_4_tigers looked at the Kookith, and then at the Blumaroo. “Excuse me?” She asked in a small voice, utterly confused.
“Take it, take him and your money.” The Blumaroo repeated. I_am_4_tigers stared at him blankly, her pink eyes filled with disbelief. “I…. But I can’t.” i_am_4_tigers said blinking, and held out the Kookith and points. “Yes, you can.” the Blumaroo said, pushing them back at her. “There shouldn’t be a price for love.”
I will tell you a tale, a tale of the heart, a tale of the soul. The neopians we used to know, are now gone. Replaced with scammers, spammers. I will tell you a tale of the heart, a tale of the soul. But will anyone understand? I_am_4_tigers is a very helpful, kind, and hopeful neopian. She wants neopian to be a nicer place to stay. It was nice before scammers, and spammers. Now we are lost in a world of them.
