The cold wind whips my ears about my face, blowing the smell of the salt sea air up my rather protuberant nose. I can only hope that I don't get thrown into the deep, black fathoms of the raging sea, and gobbled up by a giant Quadrapus. And yet, there are no rules to bind me, nobody to tell me where to go or what to do. I'll brave the ocean in search of other ships to take over, for treasure to pilfer, for crewmen to poke with a sharp, pointy stick. I've dreamt of daring battles with sailors of lower or equal hitpoints (dreams of daring battles with those with higher hitpoints rapidly become nightmares!). I crave a life of excitement and danger, battling for my life or, possibly, somebody else's. Ah, this is the life for a proper Pirate Neopet!

I suspect I may be somewhere near Maraqua. Or possibly near the Lost Desert. Or Krawk Island. I'm certainly not lost! I'm a fine navigator! I just happen not to know where I am this particular moment... A blasted Pawkeet flew off with the map, that's what it was. Anyway, it's hard to set a journey when your crew have committed foul mutiny. I'm not missing them horrible lot at all, not that Mutant Shoyru or that Tyrannian Techo and certainly not that weird human person who seems to just follow us around feeding us and buying us things (hey, I'm not complaining!). And these aren't tears it's just... the wind! It's making my eyes water! Oh, how I do miss them!

But for some strange and completely absurd reason they all chose to be marooned! Fancy that! Twankydillo tried to fib me that landing home in Neopia Central isn't being marooned, but who's the Pirate Captain around here? So, all on my own, I'll travel the seven seas in search of proper land in my good, trusty dinghy, the Golden Narwhool.

Oh... I must point out that Snaffle is now trying to tie my ears around my head. Snaffle is my Snarhook. I suppose, then, that I'm not completely alone, but I'm not sure a PetPet counts, does it? And that doesn't make a very good story!

So - without all these interruptions, if you please! - Here I am, where Pirates truly belong, aboard my trusty vessel. What do I care that I have no food, no company, no crew, no weapons, no water... and... only Snaffle... for company... Umm... What am I doing here again? Snaffle! We're going home!

1 minute later (and I'll never admit to anybody that I was lost just off the coast of Neopia Central) I was back home. I pretended that I'd caught a cold from the perilous sea weather, so Twankydillo tucked me into a nice warm bed and gave me an enormous cup of chocolate. I sneakily pinched her sandwich when she wasn't looking, too. Pirating on the land does have its advantages, after all...
