Greetings, pets of Neopia. My name is Lady Fuchsia, and as you no doubt guessed when first you saw me, I am a Royal Acara. In fact I'm 67th in line to the throne of Brightvale, and you can't get much more Royal than that, can you? But please, do not be intimated by my privileged status, my obvious wealth or my staggering beauty. At heart, I am simply an Acara like any other, only better dressed and with an impeccable taste in tiaras.
. . . . On second thoughts, perhaps you should be just a little intimidated by my beauty.
As glamourous as life is when you're a Princess, life isn't all a giddy whirl of Balls, Coronations and elegant soirees with dignified ambassadors. In fact, life at Brightvale Castle can at times feel rather, well, dull.
You see King Hagan is such a stickler for education. Every other word out of his mouth has something to do with books, or schooling or something equally tedious. Of course I am all in favour of education, but a Princess has to get her priorities straight. Its no good knowing the square route of 144 is 12 if you don't know that blue and green should never be seen. I mean, imagine turning up to a Ball in a gown that clashes with your fur!
I suppose one can't really expect a Skeith to understand fashion etiquette, even if he is the King. But his attitude affects the whole City! For a start, everything is green and gold in Brightvale. Green and gold! It's everywhere you look. I simply can't get anybody to understand that silver is so much more this season's colour.
The people of Brightvale seem quite content to slob around in shapeless robes that do their figures no favours at all. I am aware that a lot of them aren't as welathy as I am, but that's no excuse for not making an effort! We could learn a thing or two from the citizens of the Lost Desert, now they know their fashion! Everything is beautiful silks and gauzes. Of course I couldn't actually live in the Lost Desert. It's far too hot, and everybody knows it isn't appropriate for Princesses to sweat.
Still, I suppose we're better off than Meridell. The fashion there never changes, and the people are covered in dung year in and year out.
However, I refuse to be silenced! I intend to start a revolution and bring Brightvale and all it's people right up to date. This is year seven, after all. There's no excuse for being old fashioned. So I plan to open Brightvale's first ever grooming parlour! Finally we will all have access to the fashion essentials we've always dreamed of!
. . . Well I dream of fashion essentials, don't you?
We will sell make-up! Mirrors! Brushes, ribbons, styling products and, in a special section of the shop, more dresses and shoes than you could find in the entirety of my walk in wardrobe! (And that's a lot of dresses, believe me. )
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, today it may be plain old Brightvale, but with my expert make over tips, tomorrow, we will be the
style capital of Neopia!
