Once upon a time, in a far away land, lived an old mean king. He was the most powerful of all. Although he was not loved by his people, this king had decided a long time ago to use his powers for evil instead of good. He was even stealing from his own people to get all the treasures he wouldn�t dare work for. Then one rainy day, his people decided to leave the kingdom to find a better place to live. The king had never been alone before. He did not know basic survival skills such as cooking. This is why, a few days later, the king died, lonely in his kingdom.

Lonely... except for the little princess left behind since her mother disappeared. The king had been such a mean man, ignored by his people...everyone forgot about the existence of that young beautiful Meerca princess. Now she had everything... her father�s castle, jewels, kingdom... except for the most important thing anyone needs, friends! She was lonely, had no friends and no family. Everyday she would sit in front of the window at the top of the castle wondering.

-Why am I so beautiful and so rich if I can�t show it off to anyone?

That is when she decided to go search the universe for friends. She left everything:... her castle, her treasures, her kingdom... and said to herself.:

- I won�t need those things where I am going!

Then she left for the unknown! Not knowing where she was heading, she walked all day. Tired, she rested under a tree and finally fell asleep.

-Bzz Bzz She heard when she woke up and gently opened her eyes. She said instantly.

- Oh buzzing creature would you be my friend?

The bee answered:

- Sorry dear, I can not be your friend.

- Why is that? She replies.

-Us bees can not walk as easily as you do, we need to fly all day this is why our specie always stay togther... as a fact, how come you are not with the other Meercas?

- I don�t know where they are! She answers desperately.

-Let me show you! I�ll take you to the magic forest. The fairies will know where is your specie.

The princess ran, ran as fast as she could behind the flying bee but unfortunately lost it. Exhausted, she sat down and started crying. She was lost and lonely once again! She cried, and cried, thinking it was over, she would never have friends and would be lonely forever. Then suddenly, she stops crying, looking at pure white light approaching her. A faerie appears.

- Do not fear princess! I�ll take you to Neopia where you will find true happiness.

- But I can�t fly.. snif... how am I suppose to get there?

The faerie hands her a potion of some sort. The princess drinks it ... Puff... she is now a faerie! The princess follows the faerie and flies for miles before arriving to Neopia. The faerie left her at the pound reassuring her that a lovely family would adopt her. As the faerie predicted, a few minutes later the princess was surrounded by her new friends and a family with unlimited love. She shouts in joy.

- I am the richest of them all!!!
