Pet Name: Ahrrii
Owner: Rittuality
Breed: Lenny

About Ahrrii:

With the sound of the gun, Ahrrii was off. He pushed hard with his feet, digging his claws into the ground with each step, to help create an extra boost. He was gaining speed with each step, his legs pumping to the maximum. Everything was a total blur, but Ahrrii didn't mind. All he could see was the road ahead, and that's where he was headed. It was hard for him to tell if he was standing still, or running with all his heart.

He could not hear any noises around him. Everything was blocked out from his mind, everything but the race. With his legs still pounding, he was still gaining speed. He didn't know which position he was in, but it didn’t matter anyway. He was going as fast as he could, running with all his heart.

Ahrrii felt a rather large rock hit the plates around his feet. The distraction slowed him down somewhat, may of cost him another position. He kept running though, running with all his life. He could feel his muscles working, he could feel the pain building inside his chest. It wasn't bad now, but he knew it would be worse after the race.

He ignored the pain, pushing it aside. All he thought about was the race, and that's all he cared about. Ahrrii felt as if he were dancing on a cloud, moving along so gracefully, so swiftly. His tail feathers were bouncing in the wind. He loved to race, and was happy racing. A smile spread across his beak, as he gained more speed with each pounding step.

Running, Ahrrii could hear the cheer of the crowd. Going past, he could see the blur of the stands, the fans cheering. Looking ahead, he could also see the finish line. To Ahrrii it was heaven, and if he could just make it a little closer...

These last few steps were long and painful for him. He could really feel the pain bubbling inside him now, and he struggled to reach the finish line. Using all the strength he had left, he pushed off the ground with his mighty claws, creating a very large sprint. This took all the energy out of him, and he collapsed over the finish line.

Realizing he placed first was a big shock for Ahrrii. He knew he gave it his best and that he deserved to win. He also knew that self confidence was the key to winning, and with that in mind, he walked home. He walked home being a winner.
