"Hi!! My name's LoveyGrundey! About the name, my owner says she named me that because she loved me when she first met me! When I became her neopet, I wasn't like those fancy neopets. I was adopted. I wasn't the smartest of them all but I knew my owner saw beyond that, an amazing Grundo! It all happened when...."

It was dark in there, so dark that you can't even see the other Grundos stuffed in the machine. I was at this big Spaceship where I was placed(more like thrown or abandoned) in a big celler, where they keep all the "useless Grundos".

We used to be "slaves" for Dr.Sloth, but we were "useless" like I said. Even the Adoption Agency treated us with so much cruel, discribing us as slobs, that no one would adopt us. It's been like that ever since I first went to the space station.

Suddenly, the lights turned on and flickered. My eyes opened. I heard some noises from outside. It probably was Gargarox Isafuhlarg , who was going to throw away some leftover crumbs for us useless Grundos. I was exagerating. We aren't useless! I started to cry. It was the thing we usually do....I had so much hatred in myself. Over my crying, I heard some talking. It was....it was a girl. My crying stoped and turned into sobs. I wanted to hear what they were saying.

"Hi, my name's Natalie! I would like to adopt a Grundo please.", Natalie said.

"Um, hi, are you sure you want a Grundo? Like we said, they are horrible slobbery little things....."

Natalie cut him off. "I know, I know. But please I would just love to have a Grundo by Christmas. It would mean so much to me to see a Grundo smile, for the first time."

"Alright, Alright. If it means so much to you, you could have one. But i warned you no one has ever really adopted and loved a Grundo. Anyways, what color ya like huh?"

"Umm.... probably white, you dont really see a white neopet around right?", Nat said.

"Comin right up Miss."

I heard some clatters and down came a very big, well i donno what it was, it looked like a metal hand!It came down and grabbed me. I struggled against it. Next thing I knew it, I was thrown down a tube and *plop*, I came out. I struggled up. Probably the first thing I noticed was the food. But then I turned around. and there she was.

"Hey! I'm your new owner!" she said. I struggled to talk. " You look sooo cute! I'll name you LoveyGrundey!" She hugged me.

The next thing I knew it, I was snuggled with warmth and at my new home. That's how I came to be my new self. And geuss what? I don't cry anymore :).
