Petawphi, Warrior Princess?

One day, Petawphi and eliz1bef were taking their customary stroll through Tyrrania to pick up some delicious omelette. As they strolled along the plateau, Petawphi heard shouts and clamor coming from the Tyrranian arena. "Why don't we ever go there?" asked Petawphi. "I've never battled, and it seems like so much fun!"

"Well," answered eliz1bef, "I wanted to wait until you were ready."

"I'm ready now!" excalimed Petawphi, stamping her hoof. "All of the other pets get to fight, why can't I? I know younge pets who have been in the battledome tons before! All I get to do is play Kacheek Seek, like a little baby!"

"I was going to wait until your birthday to give you these," sighed eliz1bef, "but you seem to have your heart set on it." With that, eliz1bef gave Petawphi an Ixi Indestructible helmet, blade, and shield. She also gave her a beautiful, velvety Ixi battlecloak with matching studded battle boots! "I saved the best for last," smiled eliz1bef. "Put on this Ixi Battle gem, and I'm sure you'll win!"

Petawphi pranced around with joy. "Come on Tutahnkamun!" she said to her baby mummy, "Let's go win some fights!"
"Now, don't get ahead of yourself," cautioned eliz1bef. "This is your first time, and it's important to learn the ropes! You should spend some time battling Punchbag Bob before you get into any real battles!"
"Sure, sure . . ." replied Petawphi as she scrambled into her new battle gear and ran down the road. Sighing, eliz1bef shook her head and took off after the scampering blue ixi and tottering petpet.
She arrived at the battledome, and could see Petawphi nowhere. "Now where could she be?" wondered eliz1bef. "Surely she's battling Punchbag Bob . . ." Just as she turned the corner, eliz1bef heard a horrible thud.
eliz1bef ran, only to find a singed, soaked, custard covered Petawphi unconscious on the ground. Tutahnkamun's eyes glowed purple as he groaned and poked Petawphi's motionless body.

"Hah! Silly Ixi! You dare to try and defeat me!" giggled the Chia Clown, evilly. "Comeback once you've bought yerself a backbone, ha ha ha!!!!" eliz1bef sighed and gathered up the limp Petawphi.

"Wha, what happened?" groaned the pathetic little Ixi as she opened her eyes.
"It's off to the Healing Springs for you! I think you bit off a little more than you could chew," answered eliz1bef as she shook her head. "That Chia Clown is a tough customer for a new little fighter like you! You needed to spend a few rounds with Punchbag Bob before you meddled with the likes of him."
"Maybe I should have waited for my birthday," groaned Petawphi as she slunk off to Faerieland. "I think maybe I should just decorate my room with these until I'm a little stronger and faster!"
"I think you can take on Punchbag Bob, but I might wait awhile before going after that clown again, if I were you . . ." answered eliz1bef.
Petawphi stared at the ground for a while and slowly answere, "Maybe, but I think I'd rather just play Kacheek Seek for right now!"
