Pet Name: Remerild About Remerild: Remerild was born on Mystery Island, like many Kougras. He lived deep in the jungle, away from the populated beaches. His coat of luxurious green is what earned him his name -- it was the same vivid colour as the most precious of emeralds. It's no surprise that he has always been fascinated by emeralds, then. Or any other sparkly thing, for that matter! Remerild had an owner, at one point, but they parted ways because his owner liked to sit in his big Neohome (on Mystery Island), but Remmy was always exploring. He'd be gone for days at a time, and come back dirty and bedraggled, but always with a secret grin on his face. Remmy did eventually find another owner -- that would be me, in fact. Although, like any Kougra, he won't actually call me an 'owner', but more a 'partner'. We happened across each other while exploring through a series of caves in Tyrannia. We traded stories over a campfire and meal of golden juppies, and by dawn had decided that we would make a great team. Remerild is a treasure-hunter. He loves sparkly things, the gems or enchanted items at the end of the find, but he also loves the hunt. He'll spend hours curled up around a book, seeking some obscure references to buried treasure. Other days he'll happily squirm through crevices to find a neopoint that someone's dropped. He's fascinated with treasure maps. He'd quite happily spend every coin he finds on the pieces scattered throughout Neopia, and rarely do I stop him. He's certainly come home with some interesting finds, the few times he's managed to assemble and decipher an entire map! We travel a great deal, but that's the life we prefer to live. Remmy isn't green anymore, but a brilliant fire that he absolutely adores. I swear, he primps more than a Uni! Yet he isn't afraid to get it muddy in search of more riches, more gems, more hidden treasures. I'm so glad that we found each other, and hope that our 'partnership' continues for the years to come.
