Random Contest Winners!
Every week or so we have a new Random Contest. The rules and events vary from competition to competition. Below are the winners from the last contest. If you'd like to enter the current contest, wander on over to the Random Contest submission form and have a look at what the currently silly task is. If you think you're up for it, give it a shot and submit your entry.
Stuck on Meridell
Now where to put all of that beautiful art?
Ah yes, the refrigerator, but sadly we are all out of magnets. :( Do you have any? Well your task for the next couple of weeks is to make Meridell themed magnets for the refrigerator (or whatever else you want to stick them to). When you submit your entry tell us what your magnet is of, and what you made it from. We will judge your entries on awesomness, Neopian accuracy, and imagination.
Five winners receive the Random Contest avatar, 15,000 NP and an item of DOOM.
Meridell Cheeseroller Magnets
When I think of Meridell, I think of rolling great big blocks of cheese down a lovely luscious hill with a techo (that looks suspiciously like the Techo Fanatic) cheering me on... I mean, who doesn't? Anyway, to pay homage to the great Cheeserolling traditions of Meridell, I decided to make Cheeseroller Magnets :) Important Note: You Can't Eat These Ones ;)
Pick Your Own Magnets
These are some plushie berry magnets based on three of the berries you might find at Meri Acres Farm. I made a Loveberry, a Voidberry, and Jumbleberry. They're made from two pieces of felt stitched together with a blanket stitch with a magnet and polyester stuffing inside.
Ultimate BullsEye Magnet
These two magnets complement each other to represent one of the games that I used to like the most back when I played Neopets years ago. These two cuties are on my fridge right now since I found them so cute and funny to make :)
Wood Burnt Magnets
I made a set of 6 wood burnings of different petpets. Each magnet was sketched, burnt, stained and then the magnet glued on the back :)
Turmac Roll magnet set
One of my favorite things about Meridell has always been their cute petpets...so I made a Turmac Roll magnet set. Enjoy!
Ten lucky people have 10,000 NP, the Random Contest avatar and an item whizzing their way.
Mysterious Meridell Cave
Mikachelilla needs to start diet, so I decided to create a puzzle if she wants to get a candy from the fridge, in order to that she needs to figure out the daily Mysterious Negg Cave in our Mysterious Meridell Cave
Escape from Meridell Castle magnets
A 5pc set of magnets based on the cult flash game, and a partial recreation of the level-maker mode. Simple construction meant to maximise the fun! Environmentally friendly: made from recycled materials.
Made three magnets using some polymer clay and acrylic paint. The magnets include one of the meridell castle, turmaculus, and ultimate bullseye.
Attack on Meridell Castle
The slorgs are back again! Their target? Meridell Castle!
Meridell Melty Bead Magnets!
I made Meridell-themed melty bead magnets (say that three times fast!) representing some of my favorite things about Meridell!
Meridell Note Magnet
This is a very useful magnet for people that don't remember what to do when they are visiting Meridell. There are much more places to look up, of course, but I listed the funnest ones!
Meridell on my refrigerator!
Oh sweet Meridell, home for the bravest heroes, mortogs and a beautiful castle. Ever feel like trying archery or rolling some cheese down the hill? Meridell is the place for you! My magnets represents the castle of Meridell, a happy mortog and the ultimate bullseye. All was handmade by me and I used cold porcelain, acrylics painting and little sticks for details, took around 1 hour and 20 minutes to be done.
I decided to use beads to create four magnets. Two of them are berries, which you can find in the game Pick-Your-Own in Meridell Acres. Jeran is, of course, a well-known Neopian hero. Lastly, a meridell shield completes the set. I hope you enjoy them!
I made my Meridell themed fridge magnets from clay and I baked it in the oven. I then used super glue to put the magnets on the berries.
Pick Your Own on the Refrigerator
Have fun with this interactive fridge magnet game from Meridell! Lift up the flaps on each scene to pick a different berry, then simply put them in the basket to collect them. Magnets hold each item to the fridge, and also allow you to rearrange and move things around!
Lastly there were 24 runners-up who will each receive 5,000 NP and the Random Contest avatar.
