Contest:
Rattling Pasta

Clack... clack...
Now what is making that noise... Oh, it is just a skeleton made of pasta. *whew* For a minute we thought it was a live skeleton. Hmmm.... that would be a great challenge for you! So this week your challenge is to create Neopet or Petpet skeletons made out of different types of pasta. These can be a picture on paper or they can be a sculpture. It is all up to you! Do all of the work yourself. Your submission should include a picture of your skeleton, and it should tell us what Neopet or Petpet it is, and what you made it from in the description. We will judge entries on creativity, spookiness, and their overall awesomness. :)

First Place

Two winners receive the Random Contest avatar, 10,000 NP and an item of DOOM.

SkelOgrin
by ash10lea
This is a pasta skeleton Orgin. He was made of spagetti, bowtie pasta, manacotti, glue, and white paint. He is sporting his Ghostkerscarf made from paper towel, sharpie and glue.

Pasta Sklyde Sculpture
by dogs_can_bark
I made my Sklyde petpet skeleton from four different types of pasta and glued it together using a hot glue gun. It can stand on it's own and is three dimensional. And is very spooky indeed

Mutant Gelert Skeleton
by shyruto
BOOOO!
This is a Mutant Gelert made out of 5 different types of pasta, as you can see it on the second picture. I wonder whose bone it is in his mouth...

Second Place

Three lucky people have 5,000 NP, the Random Contest avatar and an item whizzing their way.

Swabby Skeleton!
by amory_vain
This is a Swabby skeleton! My materials were radiatorre and orecchiette pasta, Elmer's glue, water, and a little bit of hot glue. I wanted to do something that looked kind of like those cool dried-out starfish and seahorse skeletons you find on the beach - spiny and hard and a bit creepy, but still with a recognizable shape. This guy might have turned out a little more cute than I intended - maybe it's the eye sockets!

Spaghetti Flotsam
by chrix_rossi
Draws up the flotsam with the skeletal structure, and coloring with crayons and colored pencils. Then, with the aid of scissors to cut the spaghetti into small pieces and glue them over the design of the skeleton. Paste shells around the image. After drying the glue, put in a picture frame.

Truly skeletal uni
by rory321363
A truly night-mare uni composed of only of spaghetti broken up to make its skeletal form.

poogle
by wartex121
this is a poogle and i made it out of noodles - shells, ziti, lasagna, penne and spaghetti noodles. Plus some bendable sticks.

Chomby-rifffic
by wiggertori
My skeleton sculpture is a Chomby. I made it out of lasagna, ziti, penne, mini shell pasta. I used paint to make it white and black for the eyes and mouth. :)

Third Place

Lastly there were 11 runners-up who will each receive 2,000 NP and the Random Contest avatar.
