Random Contest Winners!

Every week or so we have a new Random Contest. The rules and events vary from competition to competition. Below are the winners from the last contest. If you'd like to enter the current contest, wander on over to the Random Contest submission form and have a look at what the currently silly task is. Contest:
Nutty Petpets

Watch out!
Whew, that was close... We have some rather crazy Petpets around here. Hmmm... that should be your task for the next week! We would like you to create Petpets out of nuts! They can be nuts with shells or without, but your creations should look like Petpets from Neopia. Your submission should include a picture of your nutty Petpet. Please tell us what Petpet you created and what you used to create your masterpiece (nuts, frosting, sugar, etc) in the description. We will judge entries on creativity, awesomeness, and how adorable they are. :)

First Place

Three winners receive the Random Contest avatar, 10,000 NP and an item of DOOM.

Nutty Greeble
by florosprout
Since I love Greebles, I just had to make one! The main body is an unshelled macadamia nut, the eyes are pieces of Brazil nuts with a little bit of almond skin for the pupils, and his moth and front feet are made of coconut. His ears and back legs are made of almonds, and his feet are also pieces of almond. He is held together with glue, and took me around 3 hours, excluding drying time. The nuts were cut up with a craft knife.

Nutty Weewoo
by sang122
The body of the Weewoo is molded out of raw dough (flour+milk+eggs) and peanut butter. The body is then covered by overlapping pepitas. The face is made of overlapping Sunflower kernels. The beak and feet are made of almonds. The eyes and tail are made of raisins (held upright by skewers).

Nutty Robot
by wally64
This is my Nutty Roburg 3T3 made with nuts shells, some paint and wood sticks.

Second Place

Five lucky people have 5,000 NP, the Random Contest avatar and an item whizzing their way.

Ponka's Temple
by __shadow_of_death__
It looks like some neopian explorers found a hidden temple in Geraptiku ruled by ancient Ponkas that used to make totems out of nuts! The models were made with some cracked nuts and glue.

Nutty Ona
by dutchese159
Spotting this contest I went nuts! Straight away I wanted to try, and then I remembered the first petpet I ever got from The Advent Calendar at Christmas. I just HAD to make a nutty Ona. I raided my cupboards and dreamt up my vision of what a Nutty Paint Brush might do to my most memorable petpet. It took over two hours in total to make, excluding shopping time.

Raisin Trails, The Gallion
by silver_azalea
This delectable Gallion (whom I named Raisin Trails before devouring) was made using peanuts and raisins! :D

Nutty Harris
by soggy0ldbox
Several nuts may have been consumed during the process of this creation. *nibbles on almond ear*

Weewoo Peanuts
by toffeedatepudding
If peanuts were Weewoos, and they kept a scrapbook of their travels, this is what a page of it would look like! This project made me eat too many peanuts, but that's ok, the results were super, super cute! I hope you like them!!! Materials: peanuts, acrylic paint, paint brush, construction paper, clay, glue, two-sided tape, felt-tip marker and love!

Third Place

Lastly there were 12 runners-up who will each receive 2,000 NP and the Random Contest avatar.
