Petpet Name: Saliva Owner: or4nges Pet Name: Hanacho Breed: Dribblet About Saliva: "Hey, Hana," I said, touching Hana's shoulder. "What is it, Orange?" she replied, not looking up from her book. "Aren't you kind of lonely?" I felt her loosen up; she drew herself from her book and said, "No," then quickly went back to her book. I looked down at her, sighed, and said, "If you say so." I lifted my hand and walked out of the room. I stayed behind the door frame and listened to her whisper, "I guess I want a friend.." After hearing this, I made it my top priority to get Hana a friend. I decided to research Petpets. Which one would be perfect for Hana? Would she actually like it? I searched my home up and down, in every nook and cranny, but I couldn't find a good book. So I decided to go with instinct. Taste in certain things is inherited, right? I silently thought to myself. "I guess so," I said out loud, entering the Haunted Woods Petpet shop. I looked at every single Petpet in the shop; they were all so cute! I made sure to pick the best one, and after a few days of waiting, I finally found the perfect one. I brought home a Dribblet, and presented it to Hana. "That thing is weird," she said, sitting on the couch. "But you don't hate it, right?" I said, pushing the dripping creature closer to her; she didn't move away from it. She stared down at it. "Well, it is kind of cute." My eyes lit up. "I'm so happy you like him," I said, grinning at her. "What should we name it?" Hana looked kind of confused. "Name?" She looked down at it again. "I guess he should have a name." The Dribblet looked up at her, and then at the puddle of saliva it left on the couch. "How about Saliva? That makes sense, right?" Of course that makes sense. It makes perfect sense; I don't know what else you'd name a tongue. Since that day, Hana has been nothing but smiles and giggles. Every single day, I would spy on her and Saliva to see how their friendship was going. She always had a book on her lap and Saliva right next to her, reading him ghost stories and urban legends. Our favourite. After a couple of stories, Saliva would yawn loudly and fall asleep. He was a little difficult to take care of, but Hana didn't mind at all. I think she enjoyed having something to take care of other than herself. I smiled to myself. I had successfully chosen a friend for my oldest pet. After that, I vowed to put forth my best efforts to choose the right Petpets for my other pets too!
