Submit your petpet to the Petpet
Petpet Name: Ramen
Pet Name: Tresostrio
My name is Tresostrio. Right now, I’m a red Kau, but that’s going to change because I love being zapped by the lab ray. Anyway, you may have noticed that cute little anteater thing with me. He’s my petpet, Ramen. He’s an antwerph. You may or may not be familiar with this cute little species, but my owner Daburro wrote an article for the Neopian Times about antwerphs. If you don’t know, the antwerph comes from Geraptiku and they looove to eat petpetpets like Moaches. I know that Ramen has a thing for trying to snack on passer-bys’ petpetpets. It sometimes gets out of hand when he tackles a petpet and chases its petpet.
Moving on... I found Ramen when I decided to take a trip to Mystery Island. I first arrived on the island by boat. After walking around for a few hours and losing at Tombola, I decided to venture into the Lost City of Geraptiku. The place was mostly empty, with the exception of the mob of people at the petpet shop. I walked over and saw a line of petpets for sale, one of them being an antwerph. At the time, I had never seen an antwerph before and I thought they were the cutest things. I picked up the little antwerph and handed over my neopoints to the shop- er... jar... Just as I got out my neopoints, some random restocker there pushes me aside and grabs my antwerph! Then he paid for him and ran off! What a jerk!
“Why the heck did you take my petpet?!” I yelled, enraged at that guy.
“If you were faster, you would have gotten it!” he yelled back. “Leave the shops to us 1337 restockers!”
So, I followed this guy until he got to the Mystery Island Marketplace, obviously he had a shop here. I looked around until I found his shop. I said nothing to the guy except, “I want the antwerph.” So, he handed my petpet to me in exchange for around twenty four thousand neopoints... about twice as much as they go for in Geraptiku Petpets....
“Do you know what I had to go through to get you?” I asked, picking up my antwerph and looking him in the eyes.
The little creature tilted its head and squeeked and wagged its bushy tail. I didn’t know what that meant but it stuck out its tongue and licked my face, so I guess it was kind of like an “I love you” or something.
And that’s how I got my wonderful antwerph, Ramen. I love him so much and I could never put a price on him and he's one of the oldest antwerphs in all of neopia and- What? Why the name Ramen? Well, it’s kind of a long story involving noodles and such... Well, I guess that’s all I have to say about Ramen!
