Biryn

I am Biryn. Once a Shadow Kougra, I lived in the forests with my brother, Matty. We thought it was dangerous in there with all sorts of savage creatures wanting to eat us, but soon we found that the most dangerous were the slightly odd, lonely creatures who just wanted to talk. The forest is full of secrets - eyes are everywhere, and privacy is elusive. I'm much chattier than my brother, and one day the queen swept me up and locked me in her castle. She must've mistaken me for one of those loners, whom she considered traitors. Her magic turned me into a Baby Eyrie, though the spell seems to have backfired a bit – my coat looks suspiciously Mutant-like. I know my brother is out there somewhere; I'm just glad he was never as talkative as me.

Brother, I appreciate your care of me when I was young and your presence now; though I cannot see you, I know you are still there.
