Rose is a quiet Xweetok who is always dreaming. As a result, she finds it difficult to communicate her thoughts and feelings to others. However, she is incredibly perceptive to the thoughts of others. Only her owner calls her Suna - everyone else calls her Rose.

Angel, her owner, stumbled upon her in the thick woods outside of town. She was tangled in thick bramble and thorns, and someone or something had cut a rose into her left hip. Angel cut her down and took her home, nursing her back to health. The Xweetok woke up a week later, sticken with amnesia.

Rose had little trouble settling into life with her new owner. Angel has been very patient with her, considering that she didn't speak at all for the first month they were together. She is slowly blossoming into the "desert rose" that she is.

One day while wandering near the woods she was found in, Rose encountered the small, foxlike petpet she calls Crescent. The Kepru follows her master eveywhere, refusing to leave no matter what.
