Nothing could be better than this. Living in a royal palace in the bustling city of Sakhmet with the whole world as my plaything-
okay, so I'm a handmaiden. But Princess Amira is always so kind to me, even though I'm the youngest and smallest of all the Sakhmetians
who work in the palace. She says that princesses are just kind to everyone, but I think that there's more. Sometimes, when the ladies think I'm
not looking, I see them glance at me and exchange sighs. Try as I might, I can't remember anything sad in my life. I've always lived at the
palace and I wouldn't wish for anything else. I get to go out and explore the city whenever I want- to experience the wonderful
sights, the delicious smells, and the vibrant bustle of the market life.

Sometimes, though, I do have sad dreams. I dream of two brothers, a tall, strong Lupe, and a wild, mischevious Eyrie. They seem to know me,
and they care for me, but they always disappear before I wake up. I've tried to find pictures of them in the palace or some kind of clue, but they
appear to only exist in my dreams. As they say, "dreams are dreams, no more, no less." All the same, I wish that I knew who those brothers were,
and why the ladies of the palace look at me with so much sadness in their eyes. Maybe when I'm older. Until then, there's so much that
I have yet to explore in Sakhmet!
