NendaOlar
Painted August 18, 2006 With many thanks to you
NendaOlar is the mysterious member of the family. She appeared one day with Nereid, her Huggy, and no explanation of where she had come from, but it was easy to see that she needed help. We took her in, and over time she became a part of the family. She's quiet and shy, but has an infectious laugh that lights up the room. When she's happy, so is everyone else. She never really took to any of the others in particular until recently, when Chocolateasa joined the family. The two of them spend a lot of time together, and NendaOlar is never happier than when she's with her pteri friend.

Dover Beach
The sea is calm tonight. The tide is full, the moon lies fair Upon the straits; - on the French coast the light Gleams and is gone; the cliffs of England stand, Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay. Come to the window, sweet is the night-air! Only, from the long line of spray Where the sea meets the moon-blanched land, Listen! You hear the grating roar Of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling, At their return, up the high strand, Begin, and cease, and then again begin, With tremulous cadence slow, and bring The eternal note of sadness in.
— Matthew Arnold
