Have you ever heard about the Hibiscus Goddess? Your mum asks while tucking you
tightly into your bed. You roll over, shaking your head back and forth.
Well then, I guess it's time I tell you about her. Your mum sits in the chair next to
your bed, resting her chin in her hands.
The Hibiscus Goddess, Hibiscusa for short, lived deep in the woods of Faerieland.
She was a nomad, and at night she could blend in with the
undergrowth around her to keep herself safe from any danger. At first,
she considered herself an average Neopian. She never thought
she was anything special. It wasn't until she was a teenager before she realized
she was different from everyone else. Hibiscusa had the power of revival. She
was able to bring plants back to life, with a simple blowing of her breath. Hibisucsa used
this power to the advantage of all things around her. She could enter a downtrodden
land and leave behind a luscious forest. Hibiscusa is the sole reason for the booming garden
we have outside. She had made a dwelling deep in the Faerieland woods,
but no one knows where to find her. Some say you can find her if you stomp on all of the plants
in your path, while others say you can find her by saying her name
Your mum stops mid sentence, noticing your eyes softly closing. She kisses you on the
forehead and whispers goodnight in your ear. As she leaves,
she notices your dying rosebush on your windowsill. Making sure you aren't looking,
she silently blows on the petals, and the rosebush slowly brings itself back to life.
