Bringing sunshine to others
even if she cannot find the sun herself.

Niba had me in to dine
With her one day, and she asked me
If I was truly happy with life. I
Asked her what she meant by that
And she merely smiled and said
It was a way of hers to ask such
Questionable questions;

But I went home that night and
Asked myself if I was happy, and
I could only think that I was only
Happy with Niba, and only with Niba
And having her around is the hidden
Treasure that I had failed to find
Until just now.

And up until then the rain she had
Endured and seen, the sorrows;
All had to do with me. But no matter
How upset she would be with me,
And no matter how blindingly
Angry I was with her for no
Reason, she still loves me.

I guess, as she said
It was a way of hers. To
Love another even if the other
Had been so cruel and degrading
To her. Yes it was a way of hers
To bring happiness and joy to
others Even if she was suffering too.

The only thing to do now is
To at least try to make Niba happy
And to try to not be so heartless.
But the only happiness I can find
And I could say the same for her,
Is inside Niba and Niba alone.
