in the end, we all stand alone
Julius Rounx has spent his whole life devoted to the study of demons and the theory of summoning. When finally, after years of painstaking research, he collects enough data to attempt summoning a creature of his own, he is overjoyed. Not only is the potential chance to study a flesh-and-blood creature exciting, but the thought of having such a creature bound to his servitude is certainly alluring.
Unfortunately for poor Rounx, nothing seems to go as planned. An amateur's mistake releases the demon before the ritual is complete, and the thing flees. It returns, of course, but only because it decides that Rounx's home is the perfect hideout for when it's not off causing mischief and dragging its summoner's previously good name through the mud.
