Quote of the Week

As the gates to Faerieland are thrust open, the girls look around them in awe. Even without the faeries, the glorious glow of the missing beings still remained. The purples and pinks of the opulent city were as shimmery as ever. The Neopets living here now took great pride in making the city no less beautiful than it has ever been.

An Adventure into the World of Smoothies

Summer is the perfect time to break out the blender and try out some refreshing, vibrant, and delicious new smoothies. Whether transforming a bundle of fruit into decadent smoothie bowls or drinking them directly from one of those decorative mason jars, there’s nothing quite like a smoothie to provide that refreshing energy boost for you and your neopets to tackle the day! The last time I visited our local Smoothie Store in Neopia Central, I gathered a list of six enticing drinks on their menu that I wanted to try making at home with my own neopets—all it took was our trusty Green Kacheek Blender, and one trip to the Marketplace. Now, I’d like to share these easy, affordable, and fruity recipes with you!

A million NP in a month, how feasible is it?

In Neopia, many Neopians value their prized neopoints, as it can help them buy things. It runs the economy; it's true that money makes the world go around. And the variation in prices is immense, from the dirt cheap obsidian shards to the astronomically pricey Hidden Tower items. A goal many Neopians both old and new alike hope to achieve is to reach a million neopoints; becoming a neomillionaire if you will. Why a million? A million is a neat round number that's deeply rooted into our psychology, it comes off as an epic but not insurmountable milestone. It is also partly influenced by the fact that the Neopian bank has different account packages that grant greater interest rates when hitting a certain NP milestone.

Eye of the Storm: A Trophy Guide!

Eye of the Storm is a low-key, relaxing puzzle game that relies on common sense and a good sense of direction. The premise of the game is to find Cyodrake’s Gaze, which unfortunately had gotten lost at sea. To do this, you must locate the ship (which is located on a tile) among a sea of other tiles (two hundred and forty, to be exact!). Does it sound daunting? Hmm, probably at first, but I’m here to tell you that it’s totally not. Luckily for us, several crewmembers are more than happy to point you in the right direction. Helpful, aren’t they? Besides, who wouldn’t want to play for these beautiful trophies?

"Usuki Singing Stars #44: Usuki-Conned" by downrightdude
"I can’t believe you guys got us Usukicon passes!!” Patricia squealed as she followed her friends inside the convention center. The faerie Shoyru was bursting with excitement as she gazed at all the pink and purple booths scattered around the main floor. Sparkles clapped. “Snaw was the one who got us the passes,” explained the pink Bruce. Scary sighed. “Because the IDIOT can’t be trusted to roam around here without us trailing behind,” grumbled the purple Bruce. “But that's why Snaw invited his friend Brandon to come too,” said Sparkles. “That way we could enjoy Usukicon by ourselves. Plus, I think Brandon was seeking a Space Usuki doll or something.”

"Do You Believe in Magic?" by _brainchild_
Within the grassy meadows of Brightvale, there lived a caring and compassionate Purple Lupe named Snazztacular. She spent very little time on herself, instead finding joy in helping other Neopets who were less fortunate. She found it rewarding to share her excess wealth because it delighted the recipients. Her charitable activities included volunteer work at the Soup Kitchen, as well as donations of Neopoints, flowers, and other commodities. One pleasant spring day, she was growing flowers in her garden, which would ultimately cheer up Neopets at the Neopian Hospital who had contracted illnesses, She was watering the tulips when she noticed a curious, glowing object nestled in the grass.

"Hunted Wraith" by luvdisc_123
The cold air blew into Sasshields room as he opened the window. It was night, there was a grand full moon out, and the stars could be seen clearly. The Wraith Draik propped himself up upon the windowsill, his purple hood put down. His petpet, a Captive Shadow Wraith named Mortimer popped out of his hood and sat on his shoulder. Sasshield took a deep breath in and let it out. "Alright Mortimer, time to fly." Mortimer hopped onto Sasshields head as he put his hood back up and braced himself for flight. Ever since he had obtained his new form, flying was a pastime he relished in. Learning all the intricacies and tricks to flying was something he could never accomplish as a normal wraith.
