Goddess Has Landed

“Don’t worry Artemisluv, we’ll get you there safely,” said a Halloween Lupe. The Halloween Lupe was dressed in too small and ripped jeans and a black biker jacket. He had on his side an Iron Lupe Sword. Sitting next to him was his petpet Droolik Merton. Chaney_Talbot was Artemisluv’s body guard. Artemisluv nodded yes to him.

The Aisha scanned the spaceship. All her friends had come to see her there. She saw her owner sobbing in the back. Artemisluv knew Immortalmina didn’t really want her to go.

Next to Immortalmina was Spike_aka_bigbad the mutant Korbat. Spike was wearing a spiked collar and a Korbat Tail Spike. The Korbat had a sleeping Tyrannian Dogelfox in his lap. Spike was trying to comfort their owner.

On the other side of Spike was Emerald__Weapon the spotted Aisha. He seemed to be focused on something outside the ship. Artemisluv smiled and looked on. EW was sitting next _A_J_Rimmer_ the brown Grundo. The Grundo was dressed in a white dress shirt that had a gold crescent moon on the upper left arm, a brown tie with a gold crescent moon near the bottom, khaki pants and black combat boots. He had a white H on his forehead. Rimmer, Artemisluv knew, had drank a Swirly Rainbow Potion and could not longer touch things or be touched. Rimmer had next to him his petpet Diddler Holly.

Artemisluv then looked next to herself. There sat a Christmas Zafara Zerendipity_. Zerendipity had on a white leather uniform that looked like Koya the Korbat Huntress’. Zerendipity had on her back a bow and quiver of forest arrows and on her side a Rugged Zafara Short Sword. On the Zafara’s right wing was a gold crescent moon birthmark. On her shoulder sat her petpet Batterfly Karma.

The Aisha then looked at the last pets, the ones driving the spaceship. Methos5 the pirate Aisha and Mordecia_ the brown Lenny. Methos5 had on the normal pirate outfit only he also wore black pants, one black flop boot on the non-peg leg and a sword around his waist. Sitting next to him was his pirate Puppyblew Joeblues. Morry had on his back a Dazzling Steel Lenny Sword and on his feet were Light Footed Lenny Boots. He had a gold crescent moon birthmark on his beak. Floating above him was his petpet Cirrus Silver Lining.

In no time the ship landed on Kreludor. “So what now?” asked Spike. All the pets looked at each other. They really didn’t know what to do next. After what happened with Dr. Sloth they decided to get Artemisluv to the moon. None really knew from there what to do.

“Let’s go to the Café Kreludor and ask around.” Morry suggested. The pets nodded in agreement.

As the pets exited the space ship they noticed that the air was breathable, only it was a little difficult. The air didn’t have a smell but it felt stale. They also found that they could bounce instead on walk normally, due to the different gravity. They walked into the Café to find orange Grundos everywhere. Once they saw Artemisluv they bowed to her. “It’s the Goddess! She has come!” one called.

The desert Aisha couldn’t help blushing. “Come with us.” they told her as they grabbed her paws and dragged her out of the Café. The other pets followed closely behind. Chaney made sure the Grundos didn’t harm Artemisluv.

Soon the pets ended up to a bare part of the moon. Artemisluv walked over to it. She some how knew what to do. She help up her paws and golden light appeared around her. The light then swirled around the blank spot. The light then slowly faded from the spot that was no longer bare. A white marble palace now stood where the bare spot had been.

“This is the palace of the Moon Goddess. Only those who are pure will be able to find it or see it.” Morry said.

“I can’t see anything. You are all bloomin’ crazy.” Spike said to them. The korbat really couldn’t see anything in front of them.

“Proof that only the pure can see it,” Methos5 joked.

Immortalmina couldn’t believe her eyes. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. The others seemed to feel the same as Immortalmina. No one else said a thing or moved. They seemed to be too in shock to do anything.

Artemisluv smiled and walked to the door of her palace. “Let’s go inside!” she told them. The shock seemed to wear off with her words. Everyone, except Spike and OZ his Tyrannian Dogelfox, followed her into the palace.

The Aisha popped her head out of the door. “I bless Spike’s eyes with the pure sight,” she whispered and then giggled.

Spike then could see it. “Wow,” he said to OZ. OZ nodded as they headed inside.

As the pets stepped inside they found themselves in a huge throne room. In the middle of it was a rather small purple throne that had a gold crescent moon on it. On the walls hug banners of purple with the gold crescent moon on them. There were also a few different doors and one huge spiral staircase. The staircase had purple carpet with the moon symbol every step.

They noticed that inside the Palace had air and gravity were like Neopia. They also could smell Silly Daisies. The daisies were in pots all over the room. It was as if the Palace already know Artemisluv’s favorite flower.

“This is my home.” Artemisluv sobbed and ran to her throne. As she sat upon it everyone else in the room bowed. Gold light shimmered around the small Aisha and formed a Wand of the Moon. She held it up and smiled. “You can all stand! You are my family! You need ever bow to me.” she sad softly.

“What do we do now?” asked the teary eyed Immortalmina.

Holly the Diddle began to beep noises to Rimmer. “Holly says, ‘It is time for the Non-Guardians to do the dance of the Silly Daisies.’”

Morry shook his head. Rimmer spoke Diddler, but not very well. Morry however was fluent. “He said, ‘It is time for the Non-Guardians to go back to Neopia’”

Rimmer hung his head. “I was close.” Everyone shook their heads no.

The Guardians then took their places next to the throne. Rimmer and Morry to Artemisluv’s right and Zerendipity and Chaney to her left. Each were followed by their petpets.

Immortalmina ran to her Aisha and hugged her tightly. “I want you to know that you were my first Neopet and my favorite. I will miss you so much. I want you to be happy so I am letting you go.” she told the Aisha while crying.

“Without you I would never have made it this far! Thanks for being my owner.” Artemisluv said as Immortalmina let go.

As Immortalmina walked away she said, “You have grown up so much. No longer the clumsy silly Aisha. Now you are a true Goddess!”

Next Methos5 hugged her. “You are a great lass. Take care of yourself. I will miss our moments watching the Lenny from the window.”

“I will miss your dancing and storytelling. I hope that one day you are able to speak to Loretta,” she told him.

Then came EW who was holding Artemisluv’s Faerie Queen Doll. “I didn’t think you would want to forget this,” he said as he handed it to her.

“Some times you remind me of Clyde. If you see him say goodby for me and tell him I’ll miss him.” Artemisluv hugged the doll as she spoke.

“I think he will miss you too,” EW quietly mumbled under his breath.

Lastly was Spike. “I’ll miss you, love,” was all he could say.

Artemisluv knew that Spike meant more than he said. “I will miss you too.” She hugged him and after an awkward moment he hugged her back.

“Goodbye! You all have to come up and see me whenever you can! I love you all!” she said as they exited the palace.

After Artemisluv’s family left she sat a moment. Then she jumped out the throne and bounded toward the stairs. “Let’s check this place out!” she shouted to her Guardians. Artemisluv looked to the floor. She was going to miss her family and Clyde so much. She didn’t know if getting her dream was really worth this heartbreak. She smiled and knew she was doing the right thing, and anyway she knew she would see them all again.

It seemed like ages when Artemisluv’s family entered their Neohome. There sitting on the couch was a desert Aisha. She was wearing a toga like Artemisluv and even had a crescent moon tattoo on her forehead, only her’s was black.

“Artemisluv?” questioned EW.

“I am Vulsimetra, I will be taking the place of Artemisluv. This way no one will know she has taken her throne until she wants them to know it. I am her guardian handmaiden,” the stranger with Artemisluv’s face explained.

Everyone was in shock. They didn’t know what to say or to do. “I will leave you now so you can talk,” she told them and left the room.

Vulsimetra went into Artemisluv’s old room. She looked in the mirror and laughed. “Not as good as the Court Dancer, but it will work.” She then unscrewed her head which was a mask. Next she unzipped a zipper hidden under her Aisha collar and took off the rest. Once again she looked in the mirror. Now there stood a Darigan Aisha dressed in a long black dress. She still had the black crescent tattoo on her forehead.

Vulsimetra looked out the window to find her petpet N –4 Information retrieval Bot, Bob, awaiting her. “Tell him ‘The Goddess has landed and the decoy is in place.’” The Bot nodded and left.
