Quote of the Week

"D'ye swear by the seven seas to act endearingly rogueish, always share whatever booty ye obtain with the rest of the crewfolk, abstain from stealing the captain's hat, and uphold the Piratin' Code to the best of yer ability?"

Interview: Eliv Thade

First, I had to go into that creepy old haunted house. Then I had to convince Mr. Smarty-robes to accept the interview. And after the interview, he still insisted that I had to do some weird ritual to put his soul at rest (AKA find that book that he's been wanting to finish for so long and the kitchen knife so that he can snack on apple slices while he reads), which meant that I had to dust and vacuum the library looking for his "Shield of Pion Troect," which is ancient Maraquan for "over-sized bookmark..."

Geos: Monthly Fun

The rules of Geos are very simple. Each player gets to place a piece on the board, taking turns. The goal is to complete four different shapes: circle, square, rectangle, and triangle. "What place do ye think this is eh, Meri Acres farm?! Wait till I catch ye, I'll be sure to teach ye one of life's mighty vital lessons, one not found in a Booktastic book even- STAY OFF MY LAND!" The brown Yurble scowled, and spat smartly out at the country road that ran alongside his farm. Good-for-nothing hooligans! Ruffians! Pirates! Thieves!

"Sometimes Superglue Can't Fix Everything" by chaotizitaet
The only problem this time is that the superglue won't help me fix the sceptre, no matter how hard I try or how much I wish it to work. Because the moment the bone sceptre broke, there were some... minor... changes... You know the kind of freaky changes that go along with a small cloud of smoke that makes you want to cough...

"The Symol Investigators" by rocknrollpup95
Now let's go out to the Hole. It's right next to that tree over there. Near Turmaculus. So, what exactly does the SIT do? Every day we send twenty to thirty petpets from the team down the Hole to see what they can find. We've got a pretty good hunch that there's hundreds of symols down there doing who-knows-what. We're trying to find out what...
