My Top 10 Summer Avatars

Now you remember my other avatar article, "My Top 10 Winter Avatars", but if you weren't so excited about that one, maybe this one would be better! Like I said before, not everyone is into a certain season, and who can blame them? I personally don't like it when it's too cold! Although I don't like trips to the Tyrannian Volcano, either, but hey! Someone might just want to hear all about it, just like someone might want to hear about how Terror Mountain has it's first bit of heat, or even just have a peaceful walk on the beach. It all depends on the person!

Now I'm sure you're wondering, "Why another avatar themed article, Dusk? Why can't you do another pet-themed or game-related article?" Well, to put it simply, I've had this one in mind for quite some time, and I think that I'd better do this now or forever hold my peace, don't you think? Summer's coming to a close for some of us, and I happen to be running out of time for major projects, so let's act like Cybunnies and just hop to it!

10. Nimmo's Pond- Now this might sound a tad strange, but some people just like the simple Summer trips, such as going to a pond, maybe catching some frogs, or fishing! This avatar can be rather easy if you can manage to keep the Nimmo in place during the whole game, as well as nab the helpful power-ups, and getting the score (from the last time I played) gets you an easy 1k Neopoints! Talk about a double winner!

9. Speaking of fishing, who doesn't like the humor and intensity of the Fishing - Titanic Squid avatar? Just seeing that happy Usul's face is enough to make you go fishing, is it not? Although I don't think she was happy after getting that huge squid, oops. But just remember, it's "fishing", not "catching". ;)

8. A nice walk on an island, and suddenly a treasure! What is it, I wonder..? Oh, it's an avatar! And not just any old avatar, it's the Forgotten Shore avatar! However, this avatar can be very rare to get, depending on your luck at the location in Krawk Island...

7. The Tuskaninny - Relax avatar indeed is relaxing! Just look at his beaming face and those huge sunglasses! I'm sure even the people in the Lost Desert could have that kind of relaxation if they put their minds to it! This avatar is a very great for Summer and Tuskaninny fans alike, and it's very easy to get...If you know any Island Tuskaninnies, that is. Even if you don't, I know places you can go to find one.

6. Blumaroo - Fire! and Fiery Pteri are a super great pair of avatars that can show your love for the heat, or Fire Neopets and their Petpets! Mind you, they have very different ways to achieve, but they make an excellent pair, no?

5. Coconut JubJub, another super cute, happy avatar to have in your collection. And why is it a good Summer avatar? Why, Tropical Food, of course! Just give your little Coconut any kind of Tropical food and you'll get this avatar, as well as a loving hug (or whatever JubJubs do) from your pet! How much better could it get?

4. Volcano Faerie and I Saved Mystery Island are another great pair, but unlike the Fire avatars, these are both retired. :( How I wish I was a part of Neopets back in these days, because how can you RESIST the Volcano Faerie avvie's humor, as well as those happy Mystery Island natives' faces? These are both great avatars that only veteran Neopians could have (no, you can't keep them even if you're in the Thieves Guild!), but they are also great Summer avatars nonetheless.

3. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming~! I'm sure you've heard that song at least once, right? Well, this avatar is the perfect message for that same phrase! The Kacheek Swim avatar is only accessible to those who have a Kacheek, and who also has a love for the *cough* Beach *cough*. You might even be able to get both avatars if you're lucky!

2.The Island Quiggle can be a hard avatar to get, unless you have a lot of Neopoints or know a very trustworthy lender for a couple of items. It would also help if you actually like Quiggles. :P But even if you don't, this adorable avvie is a remarkable sight during the Summer. Doesn't it just make you wish you had your own personal Island? *sigh*

1. Dying to have "A Day at the Beach"? Well with this avatar, you might not need one anymore! This nifty avatar is very calm with the washing sea and the peaceful, clean background. It just might make you want to put on a couple of shades and some sunscreen, even while you're indoors!
