Top 15 Kiko Lake Treats!

by fairygold

--------

We all have been to Kiko Lake sometime in our lives; taken a glass bottom boat tour; bought a couch from Kiko Lake Carpentry; and, of course, visited Kiko Lake Treats. But, some people have walked out, sighing. Why? Not because their favorite flavor of candy floss wasn't in stock - because there were too many delicious candies? Everything seemed so yummy, so mouthwatering, they just decided not to pick ANYTHING! That, readers, is a tragic happening. That Kiko shopkeeper needs money to feed his family! By walking away, you may make a poor little Kiko a bit more hungry!

Ok, so, enough of the scolding. That's probably the LEAST of our worries. Anyway, Kiko Lake Treats is the perfect place to bring your pet for, well, a treat. I have made a list to help you decide what treats are perfect for a mega sweet tooth, and what treats are for the person who prefers bitter or sour, or even savory. So, let's hop to it!

15. Lime Snot Kiko Lolly

Okay, right now, PLEASE think about the name of the lolly. No, it is not real snot. But yes, it does have the consistency and texture of genuine snot. Thank goodness I didn't put this as number one! Anyway, this lime Kiko is actually pretty tasty! A sour and sweet collision results in a taste that makes anybody go, "Yum!" Lots of people try this warily, and end up liking it a lot! However, beware: the lolly is gooey, aka messy!

14. Plumberry Coral Lolly

The description for this lolly is sickening, but the Plumberry Coral Lolly is actually extremely tasty! It has a very interesting texture: hard and rocky, kind of like rock candy, but a bit harder. And the taste is also very interesting: kind of bitter, but sweet and sour also. It is something that was obviously taken from the ocean, rid of all krill and plankton, and sweetened. The reason I put it so high? Because the taste of plumberry coral isn't exactly delicious!

13. Chocolate Covered Kiko Popcorn Ball

Hmm... this popcorn ball is cool! Everybody likes popcorn, right? And chocolate is delicious in almost anyone's book, right? So, if you combine those two in one giant chocolate covered popcorn ball, it should be EXTRA YUMMY, RIGHT? Wrong. No, just kidding! Right! It has a smooth flavor of mouthwatering milk chocolate poured all over the popcorn ball, but the rough ridges and crunchiness of the perfectly cooked, packed popcorn! And it is even shaped into a Kiko, for extra cute points! The only bad thing is that this popcorn ball is a bit bigger than most people would prefer... and the taste is a bit hard to swallow. But who cares, right? WRONG. Just kidding!

12. Lemon Kiko Drink

So what if drinks can't be treats you eat? You can still drink tastiness! This drink tastes extremely sour, but if you can bear it, it tastes out of this world! (Kind of like the Beast Burger I mentioned in my article, "Top 10 Sandwiches and Burgers".) It is so smooth and refreshing, and now that I mention that it is refreshing, it does taste a lot like lemonade! But a cool perk that doesn't come with lemonade is that it has an adorable, Kiko-shaped cup, with a pretty straw!

11. Mixed Rock Slices

Yikes... the name "rock slices" actually means "rock slices"! Eaters complain about sore mouths after eating the slices, but compliment the slices by saying they are fit for a king, if only they weren't so painful. The description states that "nobody really knows what flavour it is but it tastes very sugary". Yeah, maybe a bit TOO sugary. But eaters say that it tastes sweet, much less bitter or savory than you would think.

10. Kiko Swirl Lolly

Mmmm... one lick of this lolly and you are in fudge heaven. And fudge heaven is AWESOME! Anyway, the fudge is extremely soft, and tasty, too. This lolly is like your top three favorite foods, combined, and better. The swirl of chocolate fudge and vanilla fudge really adds to the look. However, this lolly almost always gives you a couple cavities, so proceed eating with extreme caution.

9. Maple Walnut Kiko Fudge

The Kikos really have a knack for fudge, eh? The sweet sap from a sugar maple tree (found in forests around Kiko Lake) and the fresh, savory walnuts combine into a candy kiko to create a delicious combination. Any little pet will beg for more! Any grown pet will beg for more! Everybody will beg for more! But the fudge is a bit cavity-prone AND addictive, so... but the taste is better than the Kiko Swirl Lolly, so it is lower.

8. Peanut Butter Kiko Fudge

WHAT IS WITH ALL THIS FUDGE! Well, maybe it's a good thing? Whatever. This fudge is made with PEANUT BUTTER! It smells like peanut butter (and peanut butter is a good scent). It tastes like peanut butter (and peanut butter is a tasty food). It even sounds like peanut butter! (I'm kidding on that one.) But the peanut butter is better than any peanut butter you could ever taste! -licks lips-

7. Strawberry Kiko Candy

I love strawberries. Who doesn't? But to make them into a Kiko candy... pure GENIUS! I love how the candies look like strawberry Kikos, and even though the leaves are not edible (most people learn that the hard way) the rest IS! And the rest IS like strawberry land! YUM!

6. Kiko Lake Cookie

Mouthwatering yet healthy, this cookie can be a good dessert for your little munchkins. But don't feed it to your munchkins right before bedtime. They get jittery. Anyway, this cookie is not a normal sugar cookie. No-sir-ee, this cookie is frosting-ed! The frosting is smooth and creamy, with different flavors! The green is apple, the brown is chocolate, the blue is raspberry, the red is cherry, the peach is peach, and the orange is orange. Cool!

5. Peanut Kiko Apple

Delicious peanuts in every bite! Juicy apple in every bite! Heaven in every bite! This apple can be rotten, but FFQ rarely. The taste is delectable: juicy and crunchy, as well as creamy chocolate drizzled all over the sticked apple! This is something perfect for those autumn days with rumbly stomachs and tons of apples and peanuts!

4. Fruity Kiko Necklace

Lots of organic fruit Kikos, on a beautiful edible necklace! Girls will rejoice because of the fruity colourful glamour that is their neck jewelry, and boys will rejoice because of the yummy taste that is sure to please crowds! The colors of the rainbow (and friends) all make this necklace worth living in Neopia for. But beware of the green. Instead of a juicy apple, it's super-sour lime!

3. Candy Kiko Apple

Similar to the Peanut Kiko Apple (they're cousins), the Candy Kiko Apple is tasty and crunchy, smooth and juicy! First, take an organic, juicy, fresh red apple. Stick a hard, wooden stick into the hole at the bottom. Next, cover it with melted red candy, stick two blue-dyed cookies with holes in the middle on it, put blueberries in the holes, stick chocolate arms on, and voila! Delicious candy apple that looks like a Kiko, thus renaming it Candy Kiko Apple.

2. Mint Kiko Swirl

Yummy yum yum, three Kikos in a tub! This Mint Kiko Swirl is awesome, verging on epic. The mint has a beautiful colour, and tastes like it looks! The chocolate is smooth and a creamy brown, and tastes much better than it looks! And the shape, oh, the shape: a Kiko! Those Kikos sure have style! And since this is number two...

NEXT UP IS NUMBER ONE! BEHOLD, THE BEST KIKO LAKE TREAT OF ALL TIME (IN MY OPINION)...

1. Candy Floss Cupcake

You didn't think I would forget Kiko Lake's world famous CANDY FLOSS, would you? Yes, ladies and gentlepets, a Candy Floss Cupcake is amazing. Not verging on epic, shooting PAST epic. That, my dear readers, is great. The actual cupcake is spongy and light. The frosting is, of course, candy floss flavoured. And those blue sprinkles? They are raspberry candy floss bits! And look at those adorable eyes... they sure do belong on this cupcake!

So, readers, this concludes my list of Top 15 Kiko Lake Treats. I do hope to make more articles and stories. In the meantime... keep going to Kiko Lake! (They sure do like the publicity!)
