The Top Ten Best Halloween Candies

I don’t know about most Pets, but I love Halloween! Fancy costumes (I’m being Jhuidah this year!), a magic crackle in the air, and CANDY! Yes, all sorts of candy, from the luscious Asparagus Candycane (Angel made me write that… Asparagus, EW) to the ever-popular Zeenana Krawkberry. But what do I think are the top ten? Well, that’s what this whole article is all about. Most of these candies can be found at the Chocolate Factory or on the Shop Wizard (he’s my hero) for around 200 NP - 15k NP.

Number one is quite possibly the most underpriced chocolate out there today! It’s –can I get a drum roll please?- The Milk Chocolate Cherry Cordial! These are the best candy on earth; you’ve got cherries (best fruit ever) and you’ve got chocolate. How could you ever go wrong with that? Consider yourself the luckiest pet in the world if you’ve got one of these in your pillowcase- I always save mine for last and I suggest you do the same. Or, if you’ve been so intrigued by my lauding of the morsels, go out and buy some. For such a delicacy, 950 NP is not a lot to ask.

Number two isn’t far behind numero uno, but it’s not quite there yet in its tastiness. It’s the Black Currant Shoyru Sweet. A mixture of blackcurrants and cream, it’s the ultimate melt-in-your-mouth experience! While it’s not certain to turn up in your bag, it’s quite fortunate to find. Especially if you’re a Shoyru- this candy was made to mimic the shape of your head, you should be honored! But even if you’re not a Shoyru, it’s delicious. This should be eaten just before enjoying that Cordial I was just bragging about. Warm up the palate after all the cheap, disgusting candy you were given, ya know?

The third beauty on the list is the beautiful Mint Chocolate Uni. Call me biased, but I think it has the most chocolate of all the chocolate pets available and it’s the best. Minty goodness in the shape of a Uni? Heaven. This beauty is far less likely to turn up in your bag than the aforementioned candies, but it’s much less tasty (did I just say that?) than they are anyway. Think about it, would you rather snack on- Chocolate Cherries or a mint chocolate candy. If you answered the latter, you’re crazy. Or maybe I’m just a crazed cherry fangirl. Whichever it is, this is my number three pick.

Number four is particularly popular (alliteration, EEE!) among Krawk Islanders. In fact, it is a direct replica of their currency. Yes, I’m talking about the Chocolate Dubloon! These beauties come in packs of two and should be eaten just before you eat anything else in your bag, lest the flavor be wasted. Most people will be trying to get rid of them since they were given out in the Year Seven Advent Calendar, but they still make them fresh (I think). Be sure to have one of your older siblings sniff it to make sure they aren’t stale. Or if you’re an only Pet, find an older neighborhood friend to do it.

Coming in fifth on my list is the Chocolate Man with his cute little edible buttons and tasty chocolate body. Girly and I usually save this for the third to last candy we eat so we can play house with them. See, owners, don’t toss them out when you see them and think they promote violence; they’re a multiuse item- they nourish and entertain! Or if you need decoration for your home, at a mere 5k apiece, they decorate your Neohome for a spooky look that is sure to scare off any little one.

Alas, we’re halfway through already! Have you put any thought into what number six will be? I certainly have. Number six is a delicacy at my house because they’re very, very expensive. Like the Chocolate Man, it is a multiuse item that will be sure to please even the most finicky Uni. Especially now with Customization set in place-

Ahem, as I was saying before I was so RUDELY interrupted, with the new Customization program, these are all the rage. What am I talking about? Why, Sweet Necklaces of course. They’re practically a currency in my neighborhood- as they should be at 11k+. If you get one in your bag, SAVE IT! Can I stress this enough? When these things become wearable, the price may well triple and you can be on your way to owning your own Lab Ray! Or, you could always just eat it if you already have the Ray.

Since I love blueberry almost as much as I love cherries, I just had to put an item made with blueberries on my list. Unfortunately, there is only one candy with that wonderful blueberry taste in my price range. That is why the Blueberry Grundo Lollypop is what I chose to fill my number seven slot. If you’re a huge Grundo fan (or a fan of the group Gruundo), this lolly is for you. Or if you love blueberries and don’t have 19k to spare for the Blueberry Gummy Stamp (which probably WILL NOT BE FOUND IN YOUR BAG unless you hit up ritzy areas) this is the best thing to find in your bag. From the moment you stick it in your mouth, a burst of flavor explodes in your mouth and turns your tongue blue so you can compare with friends. Blue is said to be the most pwning color out there for tongues.

Number eight is also an old Advent Calendar item, so always check its freshness before digging in on it. The guarantee is better if you have a Lupe sibling to ask (I have two, one on each of Angel’s sides), since their noses are greater than most other Pets’. The candy I’m talking about will give your pillowcase a break, since it comes in its own humongous sack! It’s the delicious and aged Big Bag Of Sweets! Some candies, like this one, need to age or they won’t taste as good. Or at least that’s what Madyiyah and I agree upon. Then again, after eating these gems, we did get Bloaty Belly, but that was just because we ate them too fast. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

The ninth item on my list is both multiseasonal and delicious. I’m talking of course about the Orange Chocolate Snowflake, which has been with us since the Chocolate Ball of Year 7. The first bite is chocolaty, then slowing turns into a warm, orange taste that will satisfy any Pet. Unless, of course, you’re allergic to oranges or chocolate. Then I advise you to find something else to munch on, but I digress. The best part is that if you get a couple of these in your bag, you will be able to decorate your Christmas tree with them, for a pretty holiday effect. Be forewarned, though, that lights on the tree could, and most likely will, melt these morsels, leaving your owner with a mess to clean on Christmas morning.

Oh, happy day! We’ve finally reached my final favorite treat? What will it be? Something expensive? Something worthy of Fyora’s faerie palate? No. This morsel is a most basic candy that has been around for a good while. What am I talking about? How can you not know? I’m referring to the Chocolate Coated Mint Bar! It’s one of the few things that don’t cost much that I love finding in my sack at the end of the night, and they’re very abundant too! From the first bite, one is sucked into the delicious duo of chocolate and mint, only to find that there are several more just like it waiting for them to devour.
