Meerca Chase Players Psychoanalyzed!

GAMES ROOM - Meerca Chase. Perhaps the most popular game in all of Neopia. We all play it, and we all know we love it. True, it is based on the classic game of snake that everyone has played, but there is just something about that adorable little Meerca hunting down those happiness neggs that makes you smile and want to play the game everyday. So, one day I found myself (yet again) playing Meerca Chase. When suddenly I found that the way you play the game tells you a little bit about yourself. It may be the way you approach the game, the kind of mood you are in, or your perspective in life. So, step right up and I will tell you what your playing style says about you!

We will start with which difficulty level you chose, since that plays a very important part in the game.

Let’s say that you play on the “easy” level. You may think that this just means you are inexperienced, but it really means that you are willing to give up the points of the higher levels because you fear the challenge in the speed of the Meerca. Patience and practice will help get you to the top!

OK, so you’ve passed “easy” and have moved on to the “medium” difficulty level. Well, that’s better! You hunger for more points (maybe you want to be a Neomillionaire!) yet you still stray from the highest level of all. It’s possible that you feel inferior to someone or something and you are just left in the middle. Or, perhaps you are stuck in the middle of some major project in your life. Try to work through that project and finish it off, maybe when you’re through with that, you can climb the ladder to the highest level!

Right on! You have made it to the “high” difficulty level! You are ready to face a challenge, and you can handle the speed of the Meerca. You feel very confident playing this game and in life. You strive for a challenge, and even if you may not be the best, you try your hardest at everything and eventually you do become better! Congratulations!

Let us move on to how you play the game. Are you an aggressive fighter, or are the laid back player who is just trying to get a couple of points to buy your Neopets a snack? Well, no matter how you approach the game, I can tell you what it says about you as a person.

Do you find yourself constantly running into walls? If so, you may just be a klutzy person in life, finding yourself always stubbing your toe or something, dropping something fragile, or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. On the other hand, maybe you are just feeling bad because you got a low grade on a test or you messed up something important... but don’t worry! Cheer up and steer clear from those walls! Plus, if you can do that, your scores will rocket!

So, you find yourself running into those nasty red neggs all the time, huh? Well, the answer could be that you are color blinded or you are just confused about how to play the game and you want to collect all the neggs on the screen. Or you might just be aggravated at something and want to take it out on those rotten red neggs. But be gentle! They never did anything to hurt you!

Do you always seem to be running in circles? Chasing your tail just like your dog when he has too much energy? Well you appear to be very confused about something in your life, and everything is just spinning around in your head. Spend some time to try and get everything all figured out and settled down. You will feel better when you do and you will do much better at the game when you are not running into yourself constantly.

Hmmm, you always try to go get that happiness negg, but you always seem to turn just before you actually reach it. Unfortunately this does not make for a very quick game, because of having to keep trying again and again for each negg. It shows that you are afraid of doing something important, something that may cause a drastic change in your life. Don’t worry, I’m sure everything will be fine- go for it!

You go for every negg instantly, especially if it’s stuck right in between two red neggs! You are a risk taker and a go-getter, you strive to complete any task that is put in front of you- the harder, the better! You fear nothing and love a challenge. But be cautious, always make sure you know what you are getting yourself into before you do something, and be sure to think before you act.

Lastly, it comes down to your scores. What kind of scores do you get? Do you keep them? Or do you keep trying to get a higher score?

So, do you have a habit of hitting “try again” instead of sending your score? Well then, you are a perfectionist, and if you can, you try to get the maximum of 1,000 points per game. You try your best at everything you do, and most likely you get high scores on tests and good grades on report cards, or (for the graduates) you do well at your job and are praised with awards. Good for you!

Or, do you hit “send score” no matter how well you played the game? This says that you don’t really care about your score and you have no ambition to try your hardest at things set before you. You probably are used to settling at your goals and you settle for the amount of Neopoints you earn. You should try for a better score and work harder towards your goals!

So, if you are crazy about Meerca Chase, as I am, now you know what your playing style says about you! Have fun with your future games!
