Week - 690

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Two
by dudeiloled
Description: The warm, sweet calling voice of his younger sister woke Jeran from his dreams. He couldn't remember exactly what his dream had been, only that he had felt alone, then shook the thought from his mind. To his surprise he had woken up in the courtyard, with Lisha's face hovering above him, a huge grin on her face.

Week - 691

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Three
by dudeiloled
Description: Jeran scoured the castle for his sister, a tiny shred of worry in his heart. It was well known he was protective of his sister, despite her being a powerful sorceress. She usually came to him when he called for her, as he did to her, out of mutual respect for the other, but there was no pattering of light footsteps coming towards him, no happy hug to see her brother not training.

Week - 692

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Four
by dudeiloled
Description: King Skarl stared at the letter in his hands. He couldn't quite believe what he was reading. It was completely unexpected. They hadn't conversed in years, but now he wanted to write to him? This was odd. Something didn't quite add up.

Week - 693

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Five
by dudeiloled
Description: Jeran stared at himself in the mirror. He was wearing his full, steel armour. As he put on his helmet and held both his sword and shield, he saw himself for who he really was. A knight of Meridell, strong on the outside, but breaking on the inside.

Week - 694

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Six
by dudeiloled
Description: The first wave of battle ended with tears and shame. The overall winners of the battle were the Darigan Citadel troops, and how they rejoiced. There was going to be another one, another battle, they could all feel it. No one had truly won yet, but it was clear who had the upper hand at the moment. Meridell had to think fast before their country was taken away from them.

Week - 695

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Seven
by dudeiloled
Description: Master Vex paced up and down the cold dungeon. A drip of water persistently hit his head, but he was used to this as he walked this walk every morning and every night. He had been doing so for the past twenty years; nothing was new anymore.

Week - 696

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part Eight
by dudeiloled
Description: Jeran's heart was in his mouth. He stared up at the roof where Lord Darigan and Lisha were standing. At the bottom of the house stood Galgarroth, wearing a smug smirk on his face, as if everything was going to plan. Well, maybe it was, but that was all about to change.

Week - 689

The Sorceress and the Prisoner: Part One
by dudeiloled
Description: The mist drifted lazily through Darigan Citadel, a permanent fixture for many years. It was a bleak, dark place, which promised destruction and evil at every corner.

Week - 700

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part One
by dudeiloled
Description: “It is with both great sadness and joy that I accept this crown today.” Prince Frezon announced to the huge crowd of Neopets, a mixture of ordinary civilians and esteemed nobles, who were watching his public coronation intently. “Princess Amira’s shocking, unexpected death at the hands of her sister Vyssa will never be forgotten.”

Week - 701

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Two
by dudeiloled
Description: From the dungeons of the palace, Vyssa could hear the cheers and applause of the crowd. The cells were not far from the great steps and high on the wall near the ceiling was a small, barred window letting all of the outside noise in. Very faintly, she could hear Frezon’s booming voice. She’d almost fainted when she heard the boos and hisses, hoping beyond hope it was a sign of people realising Frezon was bad...

Week - 702

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Three
by dudeiloled
Description: Queen Nabile returned to Qasala in the early evening, the following day of the coronation. She had stayed over in the Sakhmetian palace for the night, wanting to witness Frezon as king. Alongside a few other nobles and royalty who stayed to recuperate before their journey home, she witnessed what she could only call a Lupe that was certainly at home in the palace despite his remarkably short time being there.

Week - 703

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Four
by dudeiloled
Description: King Frezon I stood in front of the crowd of Neopets at the bottom of the great steps for the second time this week, with a much more different announcement. It was a stiflingly hot day and he was still getting used to the intense heat in Sakhmet. Khamtef was much further eastwards, heading towards the sea, and often had a cool breeze in the air to help with the temperature. Sakhmet was a different story. But no matter. This had to be done.

Week - 704

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Five
by dudeiloled
Description: Frezon had to admit, he was surprised by what Sankara had suggested. It was now almost a week since his coronation, and Vyssa and Tomos’ escape (with no news of the two of them) and he had to say he was enjoying kingship. Everyone bowed down to him, obeyed his every whim and treated him like the powerful individual he was.

Week - 705

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Six
by dudeiloled
Description: Nabile, Tomos, Vyssa and a group of six Eyrie guards reached the well early in the morning. Passing the nearby village (with all in disguise as a group of peasants) had not been difficult, as only the shepherds were awake, so they slipped past largely unnoticed. The well seemed more imposing than before, with everything now knowing what was beneath it.

Week - 706

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Seven
by dudeiloled
Description: Morgana stood up, causing Vyssa and Tomos to take a step back each. She sighed. “You’re in charge, are you?” She echoed. Her voice was somewhat changed from last time. It had lost the crackly sound to it, and was instead quite clear. It was now smooth as silk and deep. Vyssa couldn’t help but wonder if everything about her had been a lie.

Week - 707

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Eight
by dudeiloled
Description: By the time the three of them reached Jazan’s private office, it was the middle of the night. They stood outside the door, Tomos and Vyssa waiting for Nabile to make the first move. She was standing there looking a little uncertain.

Week - 708

A Queen's Ascension - Justice: Part Nine
by dudeiloled
Description: It had been two months now since King Frezon’s coronation. The time had passed far too quickly for Frezon and Sankara. Indeed it had passed very quickly for Tomos, Vyssa, Nabile and Jazan as well. But for the people of Sakhmet, it had a long, confusing, often difficult time.

Week - 712

A Queen's Ascension - Christmas
by dudeiloled
Description: Princess Vyssa could not help but feel excited. She had spent the past few weeks annoying all of the servants, advisors and senators at the palace with her constant ramblings and demands, and now the day was finally almost here. Christmas was tomorrow!

Week - 851

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Two
by dudeiloled

Week - 852

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Three
by dudeiloled
Description: How dare you do this!

Week - 853

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Four
by dudeiloled

General Hadon stood in front of Queen Sankara, arms folded. The Grarrl didn’t like the Queen, and it was relatively obvious from his previous workings with her brother, King Frezon, whom Hadon had admired as a war hero.

Week - 854

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Five
by dudeiloled
Description: The Haunted Woods were an unpleasant, unwelcoming place; its name preceded its reputation and upheld it. Very few – beyond the foolish, or the brave – ventured into its depths, even into the Deserted Fairground, which had become somewhat of a tourist attraction in recent years, particularly since the death of Hubrid Nox and the chance to visit his castle had become an option.

Week - 855

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Six
by dudeiloled
Description: Faerieland had once been a magical kingdom that hung far above the ground of Neopia, sitting atop white, fluffy clouds which held the weight of the pink and purple buildings that were elegant creations. After the events of war, Faerieland had come crashing to the ground and remained there ever since, with the Faeries having to rebuild their civilisation.

Week - 856

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Seven
by dudeiloled
Description: Queen Fyora was direct with them. “I cannot help you,” she told them, her voice soft, but with an undertone of disappointment.

Week - 857

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Eight

by dudeiloled
Description: Present Day

“Your Royal Highness, the armies have left to mount their attack on Qasala.”

Week - 859

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Ten
by dudeiloled
Description: “She’s agreed to negotiate,”

Week - 860

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Eleven
by dudeiloled
Description: Sankara knew she was beaten the moment Tomos and Vyssa had arrived with their armies. The Sakhmetian army, with all its might, was not prepared to battle international armies with backups ready to reengage even if they did defeat this first wave.

Week - 861

A Queen's Ascension - War:Part Twelve
by dudeiloled
Description: “I have always dreamed of becoming your queen, ever since I was a little girl.”
