What's Wrong With Meat-Eaters?

by bunnie118

I am writing THIS article in response to both articles by ilocandy and matrix_fan.

It is true, that a Vegetarian diet is better, and it does make you live longer, but even though it's very important to keep your pets healthy, it's also important to keep your pets HAPPY.

Let's say, for example, you wanted your Skeith a Vegetarian. Studying this particular NeoPets personality, and needs, I'd say a vegetarian diet ISN'T the thing for a Skeith. Maybe some out there WOULD like to be vegetarian, but the species in general, I think would rather be a carnivore.

What about, let's say, a Kacheek? Their peaceful, and loving, and probably WOULD want to become vegetarian. Looking closely at their preferred diet and personality, the species in general would most likely want to be a vegetarian.

It is very very important to have a healthy pet, but your pet will refuse to be healthy if they aren't happy. I've learned that most NeoPets are pretty picky, and they don't like to change. Even though they love you and care for you, your going to have to curve YOUR needs for them. You cannot make your NeoPet be who YOU want them to be. If you want your Shoyru, normally a feisty, fiery creature, to be a prissy, pretty little princess, you'll probably get a Wellington Boot right in the face.

The only point I want to make is that, even though a vegetarian diet is healthy, you have to keep your pets happy, and if being a vegetarian does not fit their needs, you WON'T have a friend for life.
