Thingee from above
For lunch, we ate the last omelette. I took 2 big bites
again, and left the last big bite for Popcorn. Her appetite was smaller
than mine. Now we only have tea, Crispies, and Neowaiian bread. "We'll
save the Crispies for dinner, and the Neowaiian Bread for tomorrow," I
decided with a worried frown. Maybe my mother WAS right for not asking
a friend to go with me, I thought.
Popcorn was whimpering over the Crispies too. When we finished them,
we were only half full, so I brewed up a pack of the Chamomile Tea, and
shared it with Popcorn. When we went to sleep, Popcorn snuggled up with
me to keep ourselves warm under the leather jacket that got to my feet.

In the middle of the night, I heard a growl, and yipping noises. I awoke,
and Popcorn ran outside. I jumped up, and I shouldn't have, I bumped my
head because the roof was only 4 inches above, for a minute or so, I sat
down to relieve the pain, then I ran out to find Popcorn, and she was
growling and barking upwards. Something hit me from above, and I saw stars.
Then, as I looked up, Popcorn started barking at a little, frightened,
cute, Miamouse.
"Popcorn! Stop scaring the Miamouse!" Popcorn whimpered, and came to
me.
"Sorry for bumping you!!!" the Miamouse said, "I was really scared anyway!"
she frowned. Popcorn growled again (I think she was jealous) and jumped
onto me as if she was saying that I was her owner. The Miamouse giggled
and said, "Don't worry, Popcorn, I won't steal your owner, in fact, I
have an owner too! But I fell down from the clouds in Faerieland and now
I can't get back up."
"How far is it?" I inquired, hoping that I could get some place to rest,
"If it's not that far or high, I could maybe fly up there with you two,"
Popcorn yipped happily.
"Well, I don't know... when I fell down, I was playing alone, so my owner
won't know until a few days what happened to me, and where I am right
now. Anyway, after I fell down, I don't know how to fly, for I have no
wings, so I used my ears as a little parachute and I tried my best to
steer to here."
"Oh, so we're really far from Faerieland?" I inquired.
The Miamouse frowned and replied "Not far for faeries, or people that
could travel, but it took me 20 minutes to fall down to here." To me,
that was very far. So I decided to let her stay here. "Thanks! By the
way, my name is Miaa!" she said.
