The Faerieland
Employment Agency, for those of you who don’t know, is located
inside the city in Faerieland. Here, your NeoPet can apply for a job,
and when completed, he will get paid for it. However, not all of the jobs
come with a profit.
There are two types of jobs, basic and super. Basic Jobs
can be done by anyone who comes to the Employment Agency. Super Jobs require
that you have a job coupon. If you do not already have a job coupon, you
can find one in people’s shops. When buying a job coupon in a shop, however,
you need to think about how much you will make off of the coupon. I have
gone through the list of Super Jobs, and figured approximately how much
each job coupon would be worth. I based these calculations on the base
profit for the job(s). That does not include the extra amount of NP you
get for a time bonus.
-Green Job Coupon: 3,000 NP
-Blue Job Coupon: 4,000 NP by itself; 7,000 NP when used until it disappears
-Red Job Coupon: 9,000 NP by itself; 16,000 NP when used until it disappears
-Silver Job Coupon: 28,000 NP by itself; 44,000 NP when used until it
disappears
-Gold Job Coupon: 50,000 NP by itself; 94,000 NP when used until it disappears
-Purple Job Coupon: 70,000 NP by itself; 164,000 NP when used until it
disappears
-Pink Job Coupon: I could not find any Super Jobs that require a Pink
Job Coupon
I found that almost all of the Super Jobs are a good
deal. You will end up making more NP off of the job than you spent buying
the items. One day, I went in with a silver job coupon and 10,000 NP.
I came out (I had used up my job coupon) with 82,000! However, the same
is not true about Basic Jobs. While looking at the Basic Jobs, I noticed
that most are a rip-off. You can always try your luck at scoring so many
points on a game, but that is about the most I would do (if you want to
make NP, not lose it). A good way to check the job is to go over to the
search bar on the side, and type in the name of the item. When the item
description comes up, it will have the approximate value. Then see how
many you need to complete the job, and multiply the approx. value by that
number. Compare that with the base profit. Do you still want to do the
job?
