Orb of Fate: Part Five

The wind whistled in a high pitched tone, a storm was building.

"Stay away! There's nothing you can do to defend your pitiful world!!!!" The Dark Faerie held the Orb high, the storm started. Rain, strong winds, the whole works. jshottie almost fell off li_maige's back, karoia_ was now holding onto Viator's tail for her life.

"DO NOT INTERFERE!" the Dark Faerie screeched above the storm.

"Boy, I thought that the Dark Faerie was suppose to be partly weak!" li_maige yelled.

"She's got that dumb orb, she can do anything!!"

The Dark Faerie smiled to herself, "I think the first fate I will destroy is all of yours, you worthless creatures!"

The orb lit up, and a blast or red and black flew into the air. A blast of green and yellow shot to the left, a blast of purple and orange to the right. A blast of blue and more black went below.

"What's it doing??" karoia_ yelled, the storm carried her voice away.

"How should I know????" Viator asked.

"Prepare for an awful fate!!!!!!!" The orb grew brighter, and brighter, even brighter, until...it died out.

The storm stopped suddenly, the rain became only mist, the wind was quiet and peaceful as before. karoia_ lifted herself back onto Viator's back.

"WHAT?" The Faerie was furious, and started to blast balls of darkness around herself.

"It must of been too worked up and died," li_maige stared queerly at the little orb.

"Ha ha ha ha! It was strong enough!" Viator teased.

"SILENCE!" the Dark Faerie commanded, and started to mess with the orb. It didn't light up or show any signs of movement. It had completely died out. "ARRGH!"

"Whoa, she's annoyed," jshottie warned.

"More liked really peeved," Viator corrected.

"Let's go," li_maige suggested, trying to be helpful.

"DON'T move," the Dark Faerie commanded. "I may not have the orb, but I can still destroy you!"

"Why do you want to still?" karoia_ asked, and acted bored.

"You made me get so angry that I made the orb work too hard and now it's no use! Now you shall pay!!" The Faerie shot a small blast towards the four.

At the same time, the four used there best attacks. Karoia used her Nova she had been saving, jshottie used his blast from his mouth as before but much stronger. Viator shot a giant blast from her hands, and li_maige beamed power from his eyes. The Dark Faerie's attack had been demolished, and the four attack slammed into her.

"Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" she screeched and she flew out of sight.

"I think the fate of the world is saved!" karoia_ smiled.

"And we hardly did anything, that's what I call saving the day!" Viator laughed, and did a flip, karoia_ screamed, "He he, sorry kar!"

"Hmm," said jshottie.

"Yeah, I just got up here and helped!" li_maige added.

"Let's go."

The four returned home, li_maige went back to his home, and the other three went to karoia_'s home.

"That was strange, but fun!" karoia_ jumped off Viator's back.

"Yeah. I guess," jshottie agreed.

"For... you.... guys.... yeah...." Viator moaned as jshottie got off her back. "Lucky... for.... li_maige.... he's home and I had to carry both of you.... again."

"Oh well...."

The three rested on the soft summer grass

"Hey..." karoia_ spoke up, "What's gonna happen to the orb?"

"It died out, don't worry...." jshottie assured his sister.

"What if the Dark Faerie makes another?" karoia_'s eyes were wide with worry.

"I'm sure the Queen Faerie will deal with her," Viator said quietly. "I'd sure hate to be there with the Queen yelling at her."

The other two agree, and watched it slowly become night.

In Faerieland, the Dark Faerie had already returned, and the Queen Faerie was 'lecturing' her.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO FOOLISH! Never in my life have I seen a more foolish Faerie that would betray her kind!!" The Queen Faerie paced the cloudy floor.

"But--" the Dark Faerie started to say.

"NO! Quiet! I will do the talking!!" the Queen Faerie bellowed.

The Dark Faerie moaned.

karoia_ perked her ears up, "Hey, I can almost hear the Queen Faerie yelling at the Dark Faerie."

"Yeah," Viator said half asleep.

"You must of fell asleep," jshottie told her.

"Yeah, that must of been it," karoia_ sighed, and closed her eyes.
