Dear Readers, this is my second article to the Neopian Times.
I will help you decide if your goal from all that hard work of obtaining
your NP is worth it.
Now, my goal is to get a Tornado Ring from the Hidden
Tower. I based my goal by 3 things. Displayed factor, Opinions from people
who actually have the item, and the expense. Well, it's a Battledome item
from the Hidden Tower, there's the displayed factor. It is said Hidden
Tower items are the most powerful of all. Now from the people who have
one, a person told me this thing can do 20-100 damage. Now that's what
I call a weapon! Now the expense, this thing is worth 2,750,000 NP! The
Tornado Ring has to be good!
However, there can be mistakes too. My friend (which will
remain unlisted) has a Rod of Nova. The expense, hmmm, the second most
expensive item in Neopia! The displayed factor, Hidden Tower item which
means it has to be good. BUT, the opinion from the buyer says this thing
can ONLY do 3 damage per turn and create 3 Novas a turn. The Novas do
3-10 damage each. The good side is that Rod of Nova is a big healer. It
can heal your pet up to 60 HP! Bad, attacker, big healer. Tornado Ring
can top that!
Most people are aiming their money for the unbuyables such
as Fish Negg, and Archery Set etc. The cheap kinds of unbuyables. Let's
take the Fish Negg for a sample and check it out.
Fish Negg. The displayed factor is it MAY hatch into
something one day. Maybe that's why it's so expensive? The expense, people
want over 100,000 for the Fish Negg. It is worth 50 Negg points. It makes
a nice addition to a gallery and maybe worth more when it does hatch...maybe.
Now did you pick up something? 50 NEGG POINTS! It makes the Snegg look
like the King of England! But maybe it may hatch and the item may be worth
tons by then! The Fish Negg is truly confusing whether you want to buy
it or leave it. I'd personally leave it. The 50 Negg Points gives me a
big hint on this "Unbuyable". Save your hard work for something else like
a Hidden Tower item. I recommend Dung
Catapult for the cheapest and effective Hidden Tower item.
So remember, all of you people trying to save NP to
make your bank account grow, remember that NP is for spending, not safekeeping.
Spend your hard work on something you like, but that something you like
might be a rip-off, so consider the following, displayed factor, opinions
from other buyers, and the expense. If one of those backfires, the item
is obviously not worth it. If you need help deciding your goal, Neomail
pokedoughey. Util then, keep up the great work!
