Dream: Part Two

"Ahh! Help!" the screams made Chelsto's back hair stand up straight.

The evil crackle came again and this time, whoever it was spoke too, "Your girlfriend is leaving Neopia... say good-bye!" Chelsto was crying and reaching his arms out to the sky asking why over and over again, when it started raining. The water hit Chelsto's face refreshingly and then a giant mop appeared and headed for his face.

Chelsto shook his head and woke up; Wheelz_2000 and Floni looked down over him sadly. Chelsto was shaking from the nightmare again and as he realised that he was still at the Battledome, he suddenly sat up and looked around. The Battledome was not filled with NeoPets anymore; they must have all gone back to classes while he was dreaming. Chelsto sighed and asked quietly, "What happened?"

"Never mind that," said Floni quickly, "but you were having that same dream again, weren't you?"

Chelsto nodded and said again, "What happened?"

The two friendly faces stared at him seriously, but there was no sigh of laughter. Chelsto had understood and he looked down muttering, "I lost didn't I?" He sighed, "Now the Techo Master's got something more to bring me down on - and I was asleep! Ugh!"

Wheelz_2000 and Floni looked at each other without words and Chelsto looked up again, "I'm sorry guys - oh great, we are late for class."

"That's a bit of understatement really," said Wheelz_2000.

"School's over in a few minutes," concluded Floni, "and yes, without us there."

"What?" cried Chelsto with wide eyes, "no! Oh I'm sorry! You two could have left me here you know!"

"Hey it's OK," said Wheelz_2000 giving him a smile, "we are friends and friends help each other."

Those words comforted Chelsto a lot and meant a lot too, but he was too speechless after the nightmare and the consequences that he just gave a weak grin; Wheelz_2000 understood. Just then, NeoPets started filing into the Battledome and it meant that school was over and some NeoPets were coming to battle. Chelsto grabbed a Healing Potion X in his bag and drank it. Floni pulled his hand away and said, "You are not thinking of battling again, are you, not after what happened in the last battle!?"

"I have to, I just do," said Chelsto, "and I want to."

Floni shook his head and said, "No Chelsto, you go and get a good seat up the front with Wheelz_2000, it's my turn to battle now; and your turn to watch and have a good rest."

Chelsto knew that it was for his own good, but he pulled away reluctantly with Wheelz_2000. They went to the front seats and waited for Floni to come out. Floni too went straight to QuickFight and soon he was matched with a NeoPet around his own stats. Chelsto and Wheelz_2000 sat discussing what weapons the two fighters will use, as Floni appeared in the Battle stadium. They waited for the opponent who appeared a moment later. It was a swift Glass Quiggle who appeared and Floni gave a sigh of relief as he glanced at the stats table for the Quiggle.

The Quiggle started off with the Staff of the Earth Faerie, Dirty Snow, and Improved Defend. Floni fought back with a Grand Lightning Beam, a Shield of Reflection, and Fiercely Attack. The two battlers lost some hit points each as the battle continued. The Quiggle threw two Exploding Snowballs which Floni returned with a Frost cannon which froze the Quiggle and he also used a Bronze Dragon Stone which gave him back 15 hit points. The next move Floni considered carefully what he had would do the most damage. Floni decided to hit the Quiggle with Grand Lightning Beam, Ultra Rainbow Flash, and Fiercely Attack which did a great amount of damage to the frozen Quiggle. The Quiggle was now not frozen anymore, but at very low hit points and before he could hit Floni with anything, Floni finished it off with the exact same move as before.

Chelsto and Wheelz_2000 ran into the stadium cheering with Floni; "That was great," said Wheelz_2000.

"Yeah," said Chelsto, "kept my mind off the dream for a little while."

Floni only grinned and said, "That was fun. Got any healing potions I could use?"

"Sure," said Wheelz_2000 nodding as he passed Floni a Healing Potion X, "I'm going off to a battle too now!"

"Aww, I was going to say that," said Chelsto, "but OK, we'll watch ya."

Wheelz_2000 bounced away happily to sign up for a QuickFight while Chelsto and Floni went to the front seats again. Wheelz_2000's opponent was a large red Kau, but his stats were barely trained. Wheelz_2000's first instinct told him to attack with his Ultra Bubble Beam, Rainbow Frost Cannon, and Fiercely Attack. The red Kau was down in one move while doing hardly anything to Wheelz_2000 with his Dream Orb.

"Chelsto!?" cried Floni, "Wheelz won! He got a easy win! One move that was! Chelsto? Chelsto?" Floni looked down with horror as Wheelz_2000 ran over to see what happened.

Chelsto was sweating and with his arms over his head as if to protect himself. He was also sobbing with pain. Screams filled Chelsto's head and he could no longer take it. There was another evil crackle of laughter and this time, a dark shadow was sweeping down at Chelsto as if to crush him. The screams of Chelsti were getting louder and louder.
