The Uni is one of the most misunderstood pets in Neopia. Although most Unis are very vain, not all of the majestic pets spend their time putting on make-up. For example, the valiant Battle Faerie wouldn’t be so valiant with out Legacy, her battle Uni, would she? Most of Neopia’s population of Unis, however, are very vain. Most famous Unis are known for it, such as the owner of the Neopian Clothing Store and Venestia the Vain. Some of the Unis favourite grooming products include:

Red and Pink Lipsticks
Long Hair Brushes
Eye Shadows
Scarves

Most Unis are vegetarians and only eat plants. These Unis enjoy a diet of Carrots, Red Apples, Leeks, Mystery Island food, and Tyrannian Plants. Vegetarian Unis also like the occasional Negg (for vain Unis, Glamour Neggs are their favourite, for battle Unis Icestorm Neggs are preferable), however, not all Unis are vegetarians. For those who aren’t, Red Apples, Bronto Bites, Carrots, Farn Plants, and Sausages are always on their list.

Although Unis are found throughout Neopia, you are more likely to find them in large, grassy fields, hills, and valleys. Since Unis’ main diet is grassy, they are not found in hot, arid places where plants cannot grow, for example, the Tyrannian Plateau. They also cannot stand freezing cold or burning hot conditions, so you hardly ever see them near Terror Mountain or the Tyrannian Volcano. Unis’ favourite spot to go visiting is Mystery Island. It’s not too hot or too cold, and they can get a great tan to impress their friends!

Another reason that Unis enjoy Mystery Island, however, is because of the Training School. There, battle Unis can train up for battle at the price of a few codestones. Once the Unis are prepared for battle with exceptional stats, they need equipment. Below is a list of the most popular Uni equipment.
