Elianny and SuperComet: Part Three

At this audition, the final one would be chosen. Instead of all playing the same part, they played different parts, all at the same time.

The cue light flashed. Elianny, S.C., and SuperLucky2000 (Luck for short) all knelt down and drew straws.

"Is this good or bad?" SuperLucky2000 asked, anxiously.

"Whew, that was a close one there!" SC sighed with relief.

Elianny simply stared at her straw unbelievingly. Suddenly, all three burst into tears.

"Okay, that's a wrap!" cried the Kiko.

"Well done, all of you!", he complemented. And, he was honest. He was going to have a hard time choosing!

"Okay, take from scene 5, the beginning of the elevator scene!" the Kiko ordered.

Elianny and Luck walked into the elevator (the one in the VirtuPets Space Station- it was real!) and then came out. (They pretended that they were in another level). They ran to the asteroid set, and then the acting began.

They pretended to ride the elevator in silence. Suddenly, once again, Eli burst into tears. (She was good at this!) "Please, let Uqaq keep my Blue Bouncy Ball, and when you return to Neopia, tell my mommy, and Uqaq that I love them, and that I left my will in the computer cupboard!" Eli said.

They pretended to step off, but as Elianny walked off, she hugged Luck hard. Luck suddenly pushed her in the elevator, and well- you know the rest of the story.

"Okay, beautiful, wonderful, that was worthy of a Faerie!" the Kiko said, sobbing at the fact that two NeoPets would go home tonight when all three pets were wonderful actresses.

But the decision was made- Elianny had the talent, and she would be in the movie.

SuperComet left, as Elianny had to stay, to sign a contract. SuperComet was genuinely happy for Elianny, and so was SuperLucky2000. She was going to be a fine actress, and both of them were happy to have made the auditions this far.

SuperComet said good-bye, and hugged extra hard. She knew Elianny would be too busy with her acting career to ever go shopping with her again, and play with their plushies. Both friends said teary good byes, and they went their separate ways.

Elianny began memorizing her script, and would have to wake up every day to begin filming at 5:30 am, as there would be lots to prepare for. Gosh golly, while the major part was being filmed she would be lucky if she could get 3 hours of sleep a night (or afternoon!!!)

On the last day of the year, Elianny was prepared to start filming on the next day. They wanted the film finished in less than a year. She woke with a start, as she heard someone at her door. She opened it, and found a gift box at the door. She figured it was from the Gelert who kept following her, and the one who had asked her out for dinner the last night.

But, as she opened it, she felt her eyes fill with tears.

In the box was the Aisha plushie that she had gotten from the Lupe a long time ago with SuperComet. She remembered how they never kept in touch. She remembered how they had promised to be the best of friends FOREVER. It had been years since she had played with SuperComet. Although it was only 4:45 AM, Eli put on her robe and slippers, and dashed outside, yelling for SuperComet. She was no where. Elianny sat on her bed. She made a decision then and there, one that would probably change her life forever.

SuperComet woke up, and got dressed for school. Now that she had 1,000,000 NP, she could attend the University of Neopia next year. She had GREAT grades, and she was attending a seminar in a few hours about all the different scholarships they offered. The doorbell rang. SuperComet went to answer it. She passed her Soft Chia plushie that laid on the couch on the way, but fought back tears.

"Who is it?" SuperComet asked.

"Guess?!!!" a familiar voice that she had not heard before for a LONG time asked.

"Aaka? Daddy? Who is it?" SuperComet asked.

"Oh my Faerie queen, HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN YOUR BEST FRIEND ALREADY?" the voice shrieked.

SuperComet flung open the door, and tears came to her eyes. Elianny stood there, and there were tears in her eyes too.

"ELIANNY!!!!" SuperComet shrieked.

"SUPERCOMET!!!!!!!" Elianny shrieked.

They hugged and screamed more.

"When do you have to go back to film?" SuperComet asked. She wanted to spend all the time she could with her best friend while she still could.

"Never. I decided that I would rather have a great, best friend instead of Neopoints and fame, and an acting career. You're my best friend, and I will never give you up for anything! Not even a part in Neogeddon!" Elianny cried.

SuperComet felt stunned. What a BEST FRIEND!!!!!

"What? Are you CRAZY? Neopia to Elianny! You gave up Neogeddon for ME?" SuperComet asked.

They held hands and went to the seminar together. So, what united them was the Aisha plushie, which originally came from the Lupe. Of course, the Lupe was proud of himself! Best friends are forever. And, Elianny, and SuperComet were with each other forever, and they were wonderful friends. Who got the part that Elianny had dumped? Who knows? Probably SuperLucky2000, but does that matter? No. But, Elianny and SuperComet saw the movie together when it was in theatres. They did everything together! They were roommates in a residence in the University of Neopia, and both studied medicine. Forever, they were together.
