As before, the pets were sleeping in two separate shelters. The alliance
was sleeping in one and everyone else was sleeping in the other.
“Looks like a nice day to vote someone off the island,” Blooplum said
as she stretched her legs.
“Should we vote off everyone in the alliance or just one more and then
let the game run its course?” Sunshine asked.
“Let's just vote off one more,” Thyassa said.
“Let's call a truce,” Ursula called from the other side of the island.
“No, you’re going down. We can’t trust you anymore. You should have thought
about what you did,” Nigel yelled back.
It was true; the alliance had put themselves in a bad position.
“Five survivors have come and gone and I’m not about to let a little
alliance ruin my chances. I don’t want to be the next to go,” Kevin stated.
“But I quit the alliance,” Ursula yelled back.
“Prove it at voting tonight. If all the votes are for the same person
except for 2, then we can trust you again,” Alien Aisha said.
“Okay,” Ursula murmured.
So the survivors not in the alliance had a nice barbecue
fish sandwich and the alliance members had left over fish salad.
“We were bonding so nicely and everything was going to workout and then
we find out we were being used,” Thyassa said to the group.
“Yeah, it’s a terrible thing. We had such great times,” Nigel replied.
“Don’t give up on everyone. A group of four was betraying us. We’re all
still friends,” DJ Roo said.
“Yeah, no matter what they say, we are the original survivors,” Sunshine
chimed in.
Meanwhile over at the alliance campsite, the three friends were plotting
new moves.
“One of us will be voted off tonight,” Breadmaster said.
“Yeah, but if you guys can gain back the pets trust, we can slowly try
to eliminate them,” Ursula said.
“We won’t be as powerful,” Safari Techo said.
“But maybe we could get some of the other pets to join the alliance,”
Breadmaster said.
“I don’t know if they’re that stupid,” Safari Techo said.
“Wait, I’ll show you. I’m going to become Blooplum's
best friend,” Ursula screeched as she waltzed over to the survivor’s camp.
“Hi Blooplum. I need to talk to you. Want to take a walk in the woods,”
Ursula asked.
Blooplum agreed and they walked into the woods.
“See, the alliance has decided to join back with you guys. We won’t vote
as a team if you don’t. Chesterpot told us it was the only way to win.
He manipulated us. Please take us back, we want a new start,” Ursula explained.
“Oh, I’m so glad you understand. I want us all to be friends again. We
won’t vote as a group anymore,” Blooplum replied.
Blooplum raced back and told everyone the news. A celebration was held
and the three pets in the alliance were accepted back to the original
campsite.
“We missed you,” Sarkis said to Breadmaster.
“Everything’s going to be fine now, don’t worry,” Safari Techo told them.
Everything was going fine for the alliance. They had gotten their way
back into the group in a sneaky and underhanded way. Now, they all ran
together to the castle not knowing how the votes would show up.
“Hello survivors. I’m glad you are all friends again. Tonight we will
have a great challenge. You must test your knowledge on how well you know
the people you voted off,” the Light Faerie said.
Each pet had two signs in front of him or her. One said true, one said
false. The Light Faerie began asking questions and they had to answer
by holding up either true or false. If you answered wrong, you get out
of the challenge. The pet that gets them all right, wins.
“Okay, true or false, Professor Chesterpot quit his job as a professor
to be here,” the Light Faerie asked.
Everyone except for Blooplum and Safari Techo held up true.
“That was true, Blooplum and Safari Techo are out,” the Light Faerie
said.
“True or false, Chiala was pictured on a green back trading card,” the
Light Faerie continued.
Ursula, DJ Roo, and Thyassa held up true.
“That was false so you three are out,” the Light Faerie said.
“True or false, Brian is in the Gormball championship,” the Light Faerie
asked.
Nigel, Alien Aisha, and Breadmaster held up false when the answer was
true. They got out.
“True or false, Buckley went on expeditions,” the Light Faerie continued.
Sunshine and Sarkis held up false. The answer was true and Kevin won
the challenge.
“Good job Kevin, you cannot be voted out tonight and
you have the ability to cast two votes. Let's start the voting,” the Light
Faerie cried out.
One by one they cast their votes and the Light Faerie read them out loud.
“URSULA. BREADMASTER. ALIEN AISHA. BLOOPLUM. NIGEL. DJ ROO. ALIEN AISHA.
URSULA. SARKIS. SUNSHINE. THYASSA. The last vote is for ALIEN AISHA.”
“Sorry Alien Aisha but the tribe has spoken and its your time to go,”
the Light Faerie said as she pointed to the warp pad which now was decorated
with the faces of the voted off members.
Alien Aisha’s eyes watered as she jumped on the warp pad. Her face was
also added to the warp pad.
“I wish she didn’t go,” Kevin said.
“Well, those three votes took her down. See you tomorrow survivors,”
the Light Faerie said as she walked away.
“Nobody would have voted off Alien Aisha. Someone must be up to something,”
Sarkis hinted as he pointed to the alliance members.
“Stop playing around Sarkis. They turned over a new life. It’s just a
coincidence,” Blooplum said as she ran up to Ursula and started talking
to her.
“I know what you mean. How about you and me vote for Ursula next time
just to make sure we can be alliance free,” Nigel whispered to Sarkis.
“Okay, you, me, and Sunshine will vote for Ursula or one of the former
alliance members,” Sarkis replied.
So the clock ticked once more as Alien Aisha left and the winner got
closer to winning...
Day 6
The survivors fell asleep. Well, almost all of them did. Safari Techo,
Ursula, and Breadmaster met outside and discussed their plans.
“That worked great. Now all we have to do is stay on their good side
and we can take them down,” Ursula said.
“The money is practically ours,” Breadmaster said.
“Okay, this was a good idea but what if someone figures us out, they’ll
vote us off for sure,” Safari Techo pointed out.
“So let's just make sure we vote whoever Blooplum votes. That way we
won’t look so suspicious. I can hoax her vote out of her. She is my best
friend, well, that’s what she thinks,” Ursula chuckled.
“Hey Ursula and co. What are you doing,” Blooplum said as she stretched.
“Oh, hey Blooplum, we didn’t hear you wake up. We were going to start
a fire for y’all,” Ursula lied.
“I’ll help,” Blooplum said as she rushed out.
“By the way, who are you voting out today?” Ursula asked.
“I’m voting for Nigel,” Blooplum replied.
The alliance had Blooplum in their grasp. But little did they know, Blooplum
heard their whole conversation. Blooplum was not going to tell the others,
she was just going to vote for them and try to get them out.
The day began and everyone woke up. They all found brush and firewood
to make a nice warm fire. The morning wasn’t the same without Alien Aisha.
“I miss her so much,” Sunshine said as he gave Ursula an evil glare.
“She didn’t deserve to go,” Thyassa added.
“I didn’t vote for her,” Kevin informed.
“Let's discuss voting,” Blooplum said.
“I don’t know, we never discussed it before. Someone may feel bad,” Nigel
suggested.
“How about we talk about the people who left already,” Sarkis decided.
“Brian didn’t really help much. Maybe that’s why he got voted off. I
didn’t have a problem with him. He was kind of quiet and shy,” Thyassa
said.
“Chiala was always doing things without us. She was pretty though. She
will be very successful in her modeling career,” DJ Roo added.
“Benjamin was always pushy and bossy. He had a nice heart though. I miss
that,” Blooplum said.
“Buckley was very tired. I don’t think he was ready to take on the island.
He had other things to see and do,” Kevin explained.
“Chesterpot was the head of a secret alliance and was out to vote us
all off,” Nigel exclaimed.
“Alien Aisha shouldn’t have gone. She was nice and kind. It was just
bad luck I guess,” Sunshine finished.
The alliance was speechless. They had not cared about the other players
or paid attention to them. This was all new to them. They tried to play
along as the pets brought up memories of the past.
“Since, we’re getting everything out in the open, I voted for Alien Aisha,
she tried to get me to join an alliance with her and she wouldn’t take
no for an answer,” Ursula lied.
“You’re the one with the alliance Ursula. I heard you talking this morning
about how you’re going to vote all of us out. You three are still together
and you voted Alien Aisha out because she was doing better in the game
then you,” Blooplum outburst.
“You must have been dreaming, we weren’t up early in the morning talking
about anything. Alien Aisha was a fraud trying to get us to buy into her
act,” Ursula said.
“I will not let you talk that way about my honest friend. I and I hope
my friends will vote you, Ursula, off the island tonight,” Blooplum screamed
as she stormed off down the beach.
“I can’t believe you, we gave you a second chance,” Thyassa cried as
she ran after Blooplum.
Everyone else sat around the fire not knowing what to think.
“She’s trying to make us look bad,” Breadmaster said.
“Blooplum wouldn’t do that,” Sarkis replied as he followed his two friends.
“Yeah, anyone who is a true friend of Blooplum's, let's
go get her,” Sunshine yelled as Nigel, Kevin, and DJ Roo followed him.
“We have been caught twice already,” Safari Techo said.
“Don’t worry, we’ll make it through this somehow,” Ursula said.
The walk to the castle that night was very short. Everyone was confused,
scared, or angry.
“Nice of you all to come,” the Light Faerie said sarcastically as Blooplum
charged in.
“Tonight’s challenge, you will have to eat the huge bowl of candy in
front of you. Whoever eats the most wins the challenge and a stomach ache,”
the Light Faerie giggled.
They started. All of them ate a good 15 pieces, and then they started
to fall. Kevin was the first to quit. He almost lost his lunch. Sarkis
started slowing down and then just stopped. DJ Roo was on a role but he
started to feel a weird feeling in his stomach and he quit eating.
Meanwhile, Nigel was eating up a storm. He was going the fastest. Blooplum
was really trying but eventually, she had to stop. Sunshine was doing
well until he noticed only the gross candy was left and that’s when he
decided to stop eating it. Thyassa, Breadmaster, Ursula, Nigel, and Safari
Techo were all slowly burning out. Nigel had eaten to quickly and got
heartburn so he was out of the challenge. Next, Breadmaster fell over
and took Safari Techo down with him. Thyassa had eaten all of her candy!
Now, Ursula decided to quit. Ursula could never eat the rest of her candy.
“Congratulations Thyassa. You win the challenge,” the Light Faerie said.
Once more, a dramatic vote casting session took place but finally, the
Light Faerie read the votes.
“BLOOPLUM. URSULA. URSULA. BLOOPLUM. BREADMASTER. SAFARI TECHO. BLOOPLUM.
URSULA. URSULA. URSULA. The last vote is for URSULA,” the Light Faerie
finished.
“Ursula, you are the 7th pet to be voted off the island. Please step
on the warp pad,” the Light Faerie said.
Ursula stepped on the pad and warped away. Everything was going to be
better with Ursula gone. That’s what the pets thought. But would that
be exactly true?
“Goodnight survivors. I know now you are down to nine but hang in there.
You have survived another council and you should all be proud,” the Light
Faerie said as she flew away.
“She’s finally gone,” Blooplum yelled as they exited the castle.
“But what shall happen to us?” Breadmaster asked.
“You’re just going to have to wait and see,” Sunshine said
as they all ran back to camp.
To be continued...
