It Happened One Day

It happened one day, and I'll never forget it. This is a true story, but I suggest that you never mention it to Kyriibot, because he won't want to ever be reminded of it.

It happened one day as we went down to the Laboratory Ray. Kyriibot had taken a liking to it, since it had made him my most powerful pet. He was at level 10, and had very high strength and movement, but a low defense, which the ray didn't ever seem to do anything about. We walked into the ray building and waved to the Scorchio professor by the door. He gave us a bizarre smile and let us in.

Kyriibot hopped up onto the zapper platform, all prepared to become stronger. The professor went to a console and targeted Kyriibot with the ray. That is when it happened. I'm going to let him narrate the next part of this story:

"I stood on the platform, all ready to have something amazing and wonderful happen to me. What happened was anything but that. The ray hit me, but instead of having the gentle feel that it usually did, it knocked me over. I felt like I was being tied down to the ground, unable to move. Suddenly, my Kyrii nose enlarged and became pink and fat. My eyes enlarged into a bizarre, goofy expression, which was soon masked by the terror that anyone could see in my eyes. My hair shortened and then disappeared entirely, leaving me bald. Where my hair had been, spikes jutted out of my head. Some huge tail came jutting out of my rear, pressing me off of the ground. It made my unbalanced, and I toppled over onto my side. Suddenly, out of my back shot out two thin wings, obviously incapable of flight."

"My small feet became huge, and incredibly ugly, and my belly jutted out, causing me to be quite obese. The last thing that happened was when I looked down at myself and saw by blue fur falling onto the ground. It was replaced by pale white and pale green skin. I stood up, and saw Ironscythe, my owner, looking at my in horror. He sunk to his knees, and he looked like he was about to pass out. I must have turned into some sort of mutant. I looked over at a mirror on the wall, and discovered what I had become. I burst out into tears, and collapsed onto my now fat face."

I grabbed his hand, and helped him over to the professor.

"What have you done to him?!" I yelled, enraged.

"That happens sometimes, and a lot of people have the same reaction as you do. I rather enjoy it, really," he replied.

Needless to say, I punched the professor in the face. I rather enjoyed that, really. I nearly dragged Kyriibot out of there. I had to, he could barely move in the terrible body he now had. He was still crying. I picked him up, which made our moving faster, but more difficult. Kyriibot was writhing in my arms, and I really couldn't blame him.

I ran with him over to the magic shop, darted in, and said to Kauvara:

"Help, I need a Kyrii morphing potion! Anyone, I don't care. The lab just turned my pet into a mutant!"

"I'm sorry," said Kauvara, "We're all sold out, and the next shipment has already been reserved."

"Thanks anyway!" I said as I ran out the door.

My next stop was the wizard, but that was no help either. The potions cost way to much. At this point, I sunk to my knees, and just stayed there for at least an hour, trying to calm down Kyriibot.

When I sent this true story, the problem still hadn't been resolved, but hopefully it will soon. Kyriibot is handling it rather well, but who knows how long that will be for.
