Only for Three Days: Part Three

NPB shot a huge stream of water at the terrible ghost. "Thank goodness for Water Faeries!" said Rosina_. "Go get him NPB!" The water slowed the ghost down and distracted him from Robeta100. He bellowed loudly and charged at NPB. NPB backed up and tripped on a root!

The Ghost Lion was about to slash him to pieces when Magic_Love_ ran at full speed in front of him and ran around, which was annoying him. He glared at her and growled. He turned around to get her, when NPB and everyone else except Robeta100, who had fainted started shooting abilities at him! He was getting hit by all sorts of abilities! Fire, Water, Air, Light and even Darkness powers were attacking him!

The pets who had no abilities were using Bubble Beams and other weapons on him. At last, the Ghost Lion growled a painful growl and faded away. All the pets flopped down on the ground, NPB with a slash on his stomach.

They just laid there, not speaking until J123 said, "I-I-I guess we should get back to the cave and rest for a while."

"N-n-not t-to m-mention clean up!" said Robeta100, who had woken up and whose voice was quivering from the fright she had.

"NPB! Look at that cut! It looks painful! If It wasn't for you, you know, we would all be dead. You saved us again. Thank you so much!" said Sreep.

"If Magic_Love_ hadn't distracted the Ghost Lion, I would have been dead, so thank her!" Magic_Love_ smiled. All the pets started walking to the cave.

Once they got there, they rested on their beds for a while. They read and played a little. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to wash all this dirt off in the stream," said Rosina_, looking up from her Air Faerie book.

"I'll come," said CK2000.

"Same here," said J123.

Soon all the pets wanted to come, except for NPB who was all bandaged up and wanted to stay and raise his intelligence by reading more books. So they all went to the stream and cooled off and cleaned themselves. Then they all came back and brushed themselves until they shone. They cleaned up all the toys and books lying around and redid their beds. Then they all relaxed until nighttime, when they fell asleep. The next morning they woke up stiff and sore.

"Ohhhhhh...my wings...I'll never be able to fly again!" complained Kadina, groaning. They were all slumped against their pillows, not moving. "Hahahaha! Look at all of you! So helpless! If you were more like me, eating healthy foods and exercising, not to mention meditating you wo-"

"Shut up Sreep!" all the pets shouted. NPB was eating a half a turkey sandwich, chewing slowly.

"Y'know Sreep," he said, "you should stop being a vegetarian, you don't know what you're missing."

"The only thing that resembles meat in a way, that you've ever eaten, were flies from the pond," agreed Billacuss4, taking a big bite out of a chicken leg. "Yeah, well I don't need any meat, and as long as I don't need it, then I'm not going to have it," said Sreep. "I'm the only pet in all of Neopia that doesn't need meat to survive." "Fine with us. But as NPB said, you don't know what you're missing! Meat is heavenly!" said CK2000. Sreep scoffed. "Uh huh, sure," he said.

"Heehee, oh my god! Really?" Rosina_ and Robeta100 were giggling quietly in the corner of the cave. J123 narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the two giggling pets.

"What is with you two? What are you guys talking about?" he said, his little paws on his hips.

"Heehee, Lanad, the really cute blue Peophin, has a crush on Rosina_!" said Robeta100, giggling uncontrollably.

Kadina's eyes widened. "Oh wow! Lanad? He is so cute and is so funny and nice!" she said.

"Yeah, well Foxy10000000000 has a crush on me. I'll bet you didn't know that!" said NPB, grinning. "It's actually pretty annoying, she's following me 'n all," he said.

"Sure...I'll bet you really hate it!" said Magic_Love_, smiling.

"Yeah right, fat chance!" said J123. They all argued until Sreep said, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and none of you guys have had a proper one!"

"Actually, I'm starving!" said J123.

Sreep pulled some carrot sticks out of a bag and started munching on them.

"Blech, Sreep, get some real food, okay?" said Kadina.

Sreep stuck his long tongue out at her and continued eating.

"Yum!" said Billacuss4, pulling out a bag of Cheese and Onion Crisps from his bag. "I was saving this!" he said.

Sreep shuddered when he looked at them. "I was saving this!" said NPB, holding up a Hamburger, wrapped tightly in Plastic Wrap.

"Yuck! All greasy and salty and really bad for you! Don't even unwrap that piece of...of...junk!" said Sreep.

"Mmmm...greasy and...drool...salty...exactly what I was looking for..." said NPB, licking his lips.

"Ugh, ugh, ugh! Disgusting!" Sreep muttered, moving his way to the front of the cave near the opening to resume eating his healthy breakfast.
