The Brave Lupe

"Woof_woof8!!" Julia called. Julia is my owner. Woof_woof is my adopted brother. Woof_woof8 was missing for at least four hours. Julia was crying. Woof_woof had nothing to eat before he left, he never went out on his own. In other words, he wasn't prepared to go out in the wild.

"Tori11_2000! Your brother is gone! Why aren't you looking for him????" Julia sobbed. I turned on my Spark, one of my 3 abilities. All of a sudden the world was bright. I aimed the light to the left and to the right. No woof_woof8. I sniffed the air. I smelled woof_woof8's scent. He had gone to the left.

"I think I know where woof_woof is. Please stay here! I'll look for him," I told Julia.

"Wait! Bring food!" I waited as Julia gave me veggie burgers, water, chicken wings, and coca cola. After trying to adjust the food on my body I ran to my brother's scent. I turned on my Spark and tried to look for the blue cloud Gelert coat of my brother. Since you don't know much about me I'll tell you right now. I'm a 61 day old Fire Lupe. I have a Bubbles. A PetPet. His name is...... Bubbles. I thought of my brother's PetPet. He is a Warf, Buttercup. I cried thinking of woof_woof8 playing with Buttercup. He always took good care of him.

I started to run faster. The scent of my brother was stronger. THERE!! I found my brother!

"Tori!! Oh I'm SO glad to see you!! You got food! Where's Julia?? Where's Buttercup?? Where are we?!?" screamed woof_woof8. He was right. We were lost and then my scent went weak. Not now!! Don't fail on me NOW!! I would never find Julia again!!

My nose was hurt. I would not be able to go home for woof_woof8 had a poor sense of smell and sight. I panicked. Woof_woof8 is the oldest and the calmest so he calmed me down and said, "It is all right. When Julia sees we're gone for a long time she'll call the Lupe Rangers! They'll find us for sure!!"

The Lupe Rangers would find us. They had the best noses in the whole world of Neopia. Now that I was calmed down, I noticed I was hungry. I gave woof_woof8 the veggie burger and water since he was on a diet and I ate the chicken wings and coca cola. After we ate I went to the little hill and howled.

Most likely the Rangers would know to follow the sound of my howl. I howled for 5 minutes then stopped. I went back to my brother and asked, "Do you really think the rangers will find us before we run out of energy...... and food?"

"Yes. You know you are known as the best Chia hunter in Neopia. We will have to eat Chias."

"We can't just stay here expecting to be found!"

"True. But we can walk too much. We might walk AWAY from home instead of near home."

I never thought woof_woof8 would be so mature, so smart. But he is my older brother, so I listened to him. Oh how I envied him. I was afraid of the dark so I kept my spark on.

In the middle of the night I heard rustling in the leaves. I opened my eyes. It was The Legendary Light Lupe/Gelert. He is a cross between Gelert and Lupe.

"Tori!" he said, "You are very brave to come and find and feed and care for your brother. Everyone can see you care for him. Trust your brother. He knows what he is doing. He knows you love him. He knows you want to go home. Use your heal. You will smell. Tell your brother to use heal. He will be able to see like he used to."

I was amazed. He left after telling me all this.

"Woof_woof8! Use your heal!!:) I can smell! WE WILL GET OUT OF HERE!!!"

"Huh?! What!?!"......... Woof_woof used his heal. "I can see better!! Tori this is amazing."

"Yes it is. We'll be able to go now!"

One hour later...

"TORI! WOOF_WOOF!! You're here!!" smiled and cried Julia.

We were home. Finally. I told Julia all about the Lupe who told me what to do. Now I knew I was brave enough to do anything if I could stand such a adventure.
