I am an Eyrie as you can tell by my graceful manner and wonderful looks!
I live in a wonderful home with two sisters and a brother. Shy_Dera my
sister Lupe is green and is really fast. My other sister Geitha is an
Elephant and blue like me. And she’s really smart like me!!!. HARRY_ARY
is also blue and a Jubjub. He’s pretty strong for his size!
Well we are all adopted except for Shy_Dera. Now my owner hasn’t been
on NeoPets for long but long enough to understand a few things. Us Eyries
are fairly new to NeoPets, well we were Tatsus before, but that’s another
matter. But the thing that's wrong about this matter is my age. I was
0 hours old when my new master took me in. My brother HARRY_ARY was also
0. Was I just created then left on Dr_Death’s doorstep? Was I a bad pet?
Was I ugly? Was I a disappointment? Was I too expensive?
When I was in the adoption center there were NeoPets not even born yet!
I was lucky to be given a nice name like Hawk8_2001. Some of the other
names are rude and mean. I saw the name tags on a few pets. They had names
like Fattieboy2000 (a Bruce) Death703 (Jetsam). Other names that were
even ruder to the pet were like: hssgfgsfz (a Techno) hufgujbh (a Nimmo)
lacocalacha (a Fuzio) djskzejnheeg (a Jetsam) hyjjjjyyyyyyyyy (a Wocky)
and hjhghlh (a Jubjub).
What does hjhghlh mean? How about the person who adopts the pet? If someone
wants to battle the pet in the battle dome, what a chore it would be writing
out that name! How annoying it would be for you and the pet’s owner and
yes even the pet!
Well the thing that I am trying to prove is that when you create a pet
think about if you can take care of the pet. They do live for a long time,
and the name is permanent! If you think that you might have to give up
your pet take in mind that it will want to be adopted. And that people
don’t like to adopt pets with repulsive names. And ones that haven’t even
been in Neopia for an hour.
For all those people who have left pets on Dr_Death’s door (or even Mrs.
Worley) I hope you had to abandon them for a good reason. Hope not because
they were hungry all of the time, too expensive, or too much work. Or
even because there was a new pet out that you wanted, or you found one
in the pound that you thought was cuter so you abandon that pet for another
one. That hurt your pet’s feelings too! I know how it feels to be abandoned!
It’s not fun.
My owner has told me a few tips about NeoPets If you are poor and your
pets are hungry and grumpy, there is ALWAYS the Soup Kitchen (in fact
we are going to eat there after I write this!) The food might not fill
us up fast but it is FREE. (And free is good!) There is ALWAYS the Money
Tree. People are always leaving something your pet can play with or even
read and boy do I love reading I love reading and playing! Guilds are
good too. My owner belongs to a guild, the Lowering Cost of Food Guild!
And the people in the guilds are mostly willingly to help you if you need
money!
Now here comes my favourite part! GAMES! Whoohoo! Many games give out
Neopoints. Like Neotrivia, Kau Korrall, Kiko Match, and Blackjack. Those
games do not cost any thing to play! These games you can play with your
pet! Kacheek Seek--that's my favourite. Blackjack., the Psychic Game and
the Wheel of Excitement but those all cost Neopoints. And I think they
are very worth it.
Well, if you are a pet owner, please take care of you pet. Oh, and try
to keep it happy. We like that very much.
