The Legend of Faerieland

Hello fellow Neopians,

As you've probably noticed, a new world is free for us and our pets to venture too, FAERIE LAND. You may have been wondering how Faerie Land came about, well this is what my story is going to be about.

Once, many many years ago, there where only four Faeries, the HEALTH Faerie (she used to help pets in need if they did not have owners and were very sick), the GREENERY Faerie (she would look after the trees, flowers etc.),the SKY Faerie (she would control the weather), and the WATER Faerie (she would make sure everything under the sea didn't get polluted etc.). These Faeries were all very kind and they were all good friends, BUT the Water Faerie had a scheme. She was sick of having her job under the water and wanted to be treated like a princess and live in the clouds.

The Water Faerie, better known as Wendy, was scheming all these plans in her little cottage, when the Health Faerie walked in (her name was Kate). She let herself in as the door was open, and walked into the living room. She could not believe her ears, one of her best friends was scheming to take over Neopia. And to be treated like a princess. She flew out of the house, she just had to warn the other Faeries!~!~!

When she told the Greenery and Sky Faerie of Wendy's plans, they were shocked, they had to take action. They devised a plan. They figured that Wendy would have already built the castle in the clouds, they were right!! They flew towards the biggest cloud, there they saw Wendy ordering a poor little Kacheek around. Wendy nearly fainted when she saw the other Faeries standing right there and glaring at her!!!

She came up with a story. "Faeries, I was building this place for us to live in," she said. The other Faeries knew it was not the truth, but they went along with the story, they had a trick planned.

"Show us around then," said the Sky Faerie.

It took half an hour until they reached the bottom of the castle-- the dungeons!!!! The Health Faerie asked, "Wendy, how do the dungeons work?"

They entered the dungeon, and she gave the Health Faerie the key. She said, "Close the gate, I'll show you how it works." So the Health Faerie did what she was told. She closed and locked the gate.

The Sky, Greenery, and Health Faerie all smiled. "Can the gates in this dungeon be opened with magic," asked the Greenery Faerie rather curiously.

"No," answered the Water Faerie. The Faeries smiled at each other again, they walked away. The Water Faerie then realised, she had been tricked. She yelled for days to be let go and never died (Faeries can't die). Legend has it she escaped some how, but after she had been trapped in that dungeon, no one EVER saw her again.

The Greenery Faerie, the Sky Faerie and the Health Faerie took over the kingdom of Faerieland. They let pets venture up there if the are lucky, they still do it today, these Faeries are old now, but everyone remembers and thanks these Faeries to this day.

I hope you have enjoyed my story. This is a legend and my pets and I hope it gets remembered for a long time.
