Prypha was shocked. All this was happening so fast. Then she remembered
Terren. She searched her mind for glimpses of the future, anything that
would tell her whether he would live, and found something. Terren had
a bolt of dark light shot at him. "No!" Prypha cried. She had also learned
that she loved Terren. Prypha flew as fast as her fragile wings could
take her and found Terren's hut. He was packing his things for leaving.
"You can't go!" Prypha panted.
"You'll be finished, Terren!"
Terren turned around. "What are you, a fortune teller?" he said with
a smile.
"I've got to go. It's a matter of loyalty."
"Terren, I know this is hard to believe but I just found out I'm a faerie
and you're going to..." she said.
Terren stopped smiling. "If this is a bad joke, just tell me. Don't lie,"
he said and went on packing his things.
"Please, Terren, listen to me!" Prypha said. He turned his back to her.
"I love you. Please, listen. I won't let you go. I'll protect you," Prypha
whispered.
Terren turned around. "I've loved you since I met you," he said and gave
her a passionate kiss.
She blushed lightly. "Really! But still, don't go. I couldn't stand losing
you."
"No. I've got to go. Are you really a faerie?" he said.
"Yes." Prypha said. "And if you're leaving the only thing I can do is
bless you and fight with you, Terren dear."
Prypha held out her hand and a large ball of light started forming. It
floated into Terren's heart. "It's the ability 'Magic Torch'. I'm going
with you," she said.
"Y- You're a faerie! But I won't let you fight," Terren said.
He kissed Prypha and left the hut. But Prypha knew it was her destiny
and she wasn't about to be beaten. She flew to the Neopian bank, where
the Battle Faerie was waiting for all applicants. When it was Prypha's
turn the Battle Faerie eyed Prypha suspiciously.
"You're Prypha, aren't you?"
Prypha nodded. The Battle Faerie smiled. "You don't need to fill in any
forms, your majesty," the Battle Faerie said and bowed.
Prypha was trained by all the Uber Faeries and the Battle Faerie. She
was their only hope. Then came the Great Battle...
