Tips on Managing a Shop

Hi! My name is cassidy153 and I own a great shop that has earned me a fantastic profit so far. Here are some tips I have discovered during my Neopian profession managing Lindsay's NeoPet Supplies Center Plus!

1. Try to keep your prices reasonable or if at all possible, lowest on the Shop Wizard. You can still gain a profit and people will trust you for it.

2. If you feel that your prices are too low then increase them slowly, but not to much. I used to sell Codestones for 550 NP and it was about 600 to 700 NP lower than the second cheapest (I was the cheapest) on the Shop Wizard. Now I sell them for 1140 NP and usually still hold my place as cheapest on the Shop Wizard. Usually people will buy them within the next minute after they are priced!

3. Update your shop at least once a month. Sometimes people will appreciate the change and will be willing to purchase items from you.

4. Expand the size of your shop whenever you can afford to. That way you can hold more items in stock.

5. Restock often! If citizens visit your shop only to find nothing available they may not return and you will find the contents of your cash register steadily decreasing.

6. Check the Shop Wizard before you price your items to find out what they are being sold for, then price them accordingly. These tips have all worked for me and I hope they will help you along the way also. To everyone who has purchased from my shop, thank you.
